This was Ann Miller before her glamour days at MGM. In many ways Ann had better roles before she came to MGM. At MGM she was billed as a co-star with secondary roles. Before MGM, Ann was under contract to Columbia where she was always the star, (no co-star billing for Annie at Columbia!)
