- The 2015 Peugeot 308 1.6 blue hdi is one of the best hatchback on the market, i have had it for 6 months now and now it's time to give my opinion about it.

Nice car review, i have the 308 blue HDI 2018 model. however to my knowledge the problems with the oil contamination causing Turbo and engine faults where solved with the new Blue HDI engine introduced so that should not be a problem anymore.
True Kim, The new model of the 308, should have no problem with the oil sump like the 2015 model, you can get a new design oil sump for the 2015 model. but remember to use the right oil and every 15000 km.
What oil does the 1.6 bluehdi take mines 2016?
I get 60+ MPG out of my 2017 SW Active. That is pretty good. No back ache either. I bought it new in June 2017 and now it has 88,000 miles 140,000 km on it and it has never missed a beat. My tip is service every 10,000 miles 16000km to keep the engine in good condition, forget the manufacturer's bullshit 16000 mile 25000 km service interval
Its realy a nice car. remember the timingbelt replacement.

Hi. Last summer climate strated hizzing sound when AC is on and it got weak. I got it recharged it it was good four about month and then again it started to make hizzing sound and it got week. Second time it was recharged with r124a with UV color instead r1234yf. And we tryed to find leak with UV lamp. Only small amount of color could be find on high presure conection feed wher is welded to pipe that goes to the rest system. Coul be that we cant see leak on AC radiotor when it is on car. I drive same car only its 1.6 ehdi engine 115ps.
Some times its hard to find leeks in the system, most commen fault is the kondenser... ( AC kooler in front of the radioter) Its a weak spot for road dirt...
I do have the same model, I also drive a little faster than the max 100km/h in Holland, my average economy is 27km/l. My car has now almost 190000 km on the counter and only oil change or whatsoever has been done on regular scheduled maintenance every 25k or something like that. One cause of many troubles is using the diesel version for short rides so it won’t get warmed up properly. My daily rides are at least 60km highway so the car is warmed up properly.
Amazing that you can get 27 km/l, mine only dos around 18 on average.

I am looking at a 2016, 142000 km 308 SW (1.6 Blue HDI too). The dealer is replacing the timing belt and the cracked intake pipe. What should I be aware of when buying this car based on your experience? Thanks!

Jeg går og overvejer at købe sådan en her, 2016 model. Hvad er din oplevelse med den nu efter 2 år? Den jeg kigger på har kørt 135.000 km
Hej, kan godt forstå dig, det er en skøn bil kan jeg fortælle. Hvis du kikker på en magen til som min her, kan jeg fortælle dig at den er billig i grøn ejerafgift, jeg gav 260 kr om året, det er sku ikke meget. Den havde kørt små 45000 km da jeg fik den og ca 150000 da den blev solgt for 3 måndeer siden, . På den tid har jeg skiftet klima køler, køler blæser (fik en brugt fra Sverige til 700 kr), skiver og klodser hele vejen rundt, komplet tandrem og vandpumpe set, (lavet af en lokal mekaniker for 4100 kr), og så olie og filter skift hver 12/15000 km. På olien SKAL du bruge den olie som Peugeot siger..... Ingen THansen olie.. det er super vigtigt. Ja så har jeg sænket den også. Link til videoen er her. czcams.com/video/15Vi5ZqtkEg/video.html . I alt en skøn bil som vi har haft meget glæde af, men da vi skulle bruge en bil med aut gear måtte den afsted. Vi fik desværre kun 75000 kr for den, trist. Af ting du skal kikke efter er stenslag på taget lige der hvor forruden møder tagkanten, den er svag der, ellers tag en god tur i den og prøv alt af, klima anlæg skal køle rigtigt godt og alt skal virke friskt. Held og lykke med købet.

I am genuinely thinking about getting one of these, the GT Line for about 15k€ with 112000Km+/- in Portugal (which is insanely expensive for me, but it's about the price for a nicer more recent car).
Are there any tips for things I should watch out for?
Its a nice car. Check out the suspension rear and front, its a week spot. Buy a upgrade from bilstien ore KW. The ride vill improv 200%.check the AC radiotar, the are allso not build vell. Remember to replace the oil evry 15000 km, and only with the oil that peugeot recomendes. Hope this help you. Have a nice Day.

I have the 308 2016 Karavan and i have a problem with the Fuel Guage. When i fuel it with 10 liters it still shows me that i have low fuel level. Any solutions?
Hey there. You maby looking at a faulty fuel meter in the tank. Check out the wiring in the tank, maby clean the conecter wire. Or take out the fuel meter and see if it has a problem. Thanks for watching.. 🙂🙂

Jeg er den lykkelige ejer af en 308 fra 2016 og er meget tilfreds med bilen, kører 300 km hver dag, så hun får lov til at arbejde lidt, bilens forbrug ligger på 22 kml, det er iorden, eftersom 90 pct af tiden er på motorvej 😎
Det er en rigtig fin vogn, vi var også glade for den.
I have a 2016 308 1.6 bluehdi. I have 204000 miles ( almost 330k km ) on the clock 😅 still drives however emissions are slightly higher than it supposed to be 😢 as I was trying to clear the system I think I broke the turbo 🥲
How did you atemt to clean the system??, you can clean the DPF filter, but dont do it your self, get a pro to do it.
The problem list makes me lean towards a civic instead.
Can this car connect with Phone through Android Auto or MirrorLink?
