When you use a traditional matcha , whisk the proper way to do it is to whisk it backwards and forwards until they are air bubbles showing then that should be enough providing you put enough matcha in you should also use 80° hot water instead of boiling you burn the matcha because it’s not black tea it’s green tea. Hope this helps

I love making matcha in the ceremonial method. It probably only makes minimal difference, but to me, I find it very soothing. Just a tip for the whisking; you’ll want to do it in a “z” motion, and you honestly only need to do it until it starts becoming frothy (probably 10-15 seconds at most?)

Ritz, Dorchester etc afternoon teas are much better value and you can eat and drink as much as you want.
