My late father had knee replacements in both legs in his late 70s. After the surgery (for which he had waited on the NHS for far too long) he experienced long term pain. Conventional pain relief didn't work and the pills he took brought their own associated side effects. We were advised to try acupuncture. It was the only thing that actually worked. He thoroughly enjoyed his weekly treatments and began to enjoy life a little more despite his infirmities. Extraordinary!

U need to let the blood come out. And when its come out u will get a jelly blood. In Malay we called it "Bekam"

I saw a video where the doctor kinda stabs your circles that were cupped before so blood came out. Why?
It's called hijama and the extraction is supposed to remove stagnant blood. It's said that it helps with multiple diseases including arthritis and asthma to name a few.

Not sure about his massage technique. I like a deep tissue massage so staring off by gently pressing down on my back and legs would drive me nuts.
