It isn’t just the stepmother who was evil. The father is just as evil as she is if not more and he probably was the catalyst for the destruction of the family.

Yea the OP is the rightful owner as here is a funny story, a person once found a abandoned home owned by a bank and they started fixing it up, they lived there for 13 years before the bank went to sell it and found them there they then went to court and the thing is law is confusing but one thing that makes sense you have nation international and civil so this would fall under civil literally making the the person the owner and the bank lost so the person got the house, now the OP here just had to go into civil or national court and show them what the OP had done and WAPOP sudden ownership after a lengthy year Long battle (:

Despite everything the op felt about that house, at fourteen he was too young to be left on his own to take care of himself and that house. He should gave contacted another adult family member and told them the situation. If no adult family member was in the picture, he should have contacted the authorities and explained the situation to them. Going this route would have put dad in the doghouse for leaving a minor on his own. Plus, if something would have happen to the house or needed repaired, did the op have the authority to make any payments?
Once he turned 21, regardless what that house meant to him, he should have moved away from that toxic situation and began anew.
The man he called his father was only a sperm donor, not a dad or a father. Because the op was the caretaker of that house, that shouldn't have counted as rent to the boy's sperm donor. Because the sperm donor owned the house, he should have been paying the op for raking care of the house and any expenses made on the house.
Toxic relationship number two was the stepmother. He should never have accepted anything from her, invitation included. She's one of those people who wouldn't be missed if she fell from the edge of a canyon wall.
I agree, but in the end I feel it's Op's own foult aswell, like you said he should not have stayed, when he turned 18 he should have started saving up to move out, he forgave his father a bit to much and allowed him to ruin him and his sister, why did they still talk to those dogs, That I can not undersand, I also love my dad. but if he did that to me I would have turned my back to him, And the sister was older then Op as she was not living with him at the time, why did she leave her little brother alone in the house while her father left him all alone, she was the one that should have said this aint right and called CPS, when the brother was still 14

Op needs to learn their rights bc they could have kept that house as long as they got the receipts to prove they stayed there and they could have claimed squatter’s rights.
Story one: I can only imagine how horrified OP and his sisters' mother would be at how they had been treated throughout this saga; particularly the destruction of their family home. So, a little suggestion for anybody who can imagine the possibility that their children may end up getting treated poorly after their death - or their surviving partner may need ongoing help in their later life - get your will written to protect your children.
Far too many couples have a joint will which basically says "When one of us dies, the other will inherit everything. When the other dies, the children will inherit the estate." This is a terrible will for so many reasons.
Primarily this is going to come down to property, and possibly investments if applicable. You need to write your will such that your partner retains their half of the estate on your death, but that your half is kept in trust for your children with the understanding that your spouse continues to reside at the house uninterrupted. (Get a lawyer to draft these, obviously).
In an ideal situation both your and your spouse would have matching wills. This does a few things. Upon your death, your share of the property goes into trust for your children. Your spouse cannot unilaterally make decisions that would negatively affect your (their) share of the property. Also, if your spouse needs any means tested care or assistance, the means testing is only on their share of the property, not the whole property (because they only own half of it). This also means that if they fall into huge debt for some reason, only their half of the property can be used to clear that debt, your half of the property is protected by the trust and cannot be touched to pay off your spouse's debts (this is especially important for things like medical bankruptcy).
Seriously, if you and your significant other have a joint will set up to leave your assets to each other upon one of you dying, speak to a legal advisor about changing your will to leave your individual shares of the combined estate in trust to your children/whomever you want to benefit. You'll be able to rest much easier knowing that the evil stepmother in the story wouldn't be able to pull that crap against your children if you do, and if your significant other becomes seriously ill, your children will still have at least half the estate left to them.
If he was the acting landlord for as long as he said he was, then depending on what state and/or country he lives in, he might apply for squatters rights.

Reminds me of my good friend in college, whose parents were married and divorced from each other three times. By the time they finally ended things for good all three of their children were just like please be done already.

*Story 1:* If there are jerks in this story, it's the evil stepmother and father. They seemed to show no sorrow over OP's mother. No one, other than OP or his sister seemed to care about them or care about what happened to them.
