When I was a child I had a wolf dog. Her mother was 100% Gray Wolf, and her father was 50/50 German Shepherd and Samoyed. She was a very large dog, very friendly to everybody and I loved her dearly. I was lucky that she lived until the age of 17, which is very old for a large dog.
As a child I had a malamute wolf +a family Rottweiler in the mix.. he was discolored for hos breeder so we got him ❤ I was 4 ft10 in and he sat next to me just as tall...never got THE DNA done.. Ocean reminds me of him alot❤❤

To be fair, most people further down the information chain probably just got confused or accepted it since some German Shepherds can look similar to wolf dogs, especially if their colouration is different from the normal black and tan. I used to own a long-haired all black German Shepherd, and I still remember all the people who would say that she looked just like a bear or wolf, and when watching wolf documentaries there was usually at least one she was a dead ringer for. The first Tiktoker who deliberately stolen images and changed the primary source was an arse and an idiot though.

I am on my 4th and last wolfdog. Everything you said about them is correct. Though I love them ,I don't recommend average dog owners get them. My wolfdogs were raised and trained by me. They had someone at home 24/7 and lived in my home. As I am old now, I will not get another because I wouldn't want the wolfdog to end up ownerless. As you said they are hard to rehome. My next dog will be 100% dog. I'm glad I had the pleasure of owning wolfdog as their intelligent and loving is incredible. Enjoy your wolfdog and congratulations on your success.

I have a 2 year old husky now and her puppy hood was quite challenging. A lot of positive reinforcement and much, much, patience. In the long run it pays off. She has grown into a beautiful and pretty well trained dog. One of your CZcams videos was the deciding factor that made me get her. ( Thank you! 💕) Even though her puppy days were cute and I miss them at times, I would not want to go through it again lol. It breaks my heart to see so many Siberian Huskies in shelters and up for adoption because the owners novelty of the dog wore off. As I'm sure that goes for wolf-dogs as well. I had a wolf dog once. He was my sons. He was incredibly beautiful and so intelligent. He was also quite interesting to watch. He would play with my Boxer but he never barked and only howled sometimes. He was grey and white and tan. When people came to visit, he would circle the perimeter of our yard watching them from a distance. He never jumped up on people and I didn’t have to train him not to the way we have to most dogs. He was huge also! Well, it was probably mostly his fur. lol. It was so thick. He loved the snow better than anything else. I’d have to put a collar and leash on him and pull him over the mounds of snow. He just slid over them. Strangely, he never left our yard either, until the day he did. I guess wolves also are drawn to fence dogs in heat. A neighbor down the road had a female dog and they called me upset because he was there. I rushed out the door to go get him with my 2 yr old and my 1 month old. I know I’ll be judged for this but I accidentally ran over him right after I got him from my neighbors property. My husband was gone, neighbors were angry and threatening to shoot him and I was afraid to put him in my SUV with a newborn baby. So, I drove very slowly with a super long leash as he ran beside me. For some reason, he got startled and ran sideways right under my back tire. I felt it and I was distraught! I jumped out of my car and a different neighbor said, “It’s ok! You didn’t run over him. I saw what happened.” I was hopeful but I’d felt it and knew he was wrong. Got him home and he was so gentle and sweet even while dying. Some dogs will become aggressive. He didn’t. He ended up dying within a few mns and it was traumatic. I’ll never forget it or forgive myself. He was amazing!

I just love wolf dogs since I discovered the race many years ago 🥰 I know that I couldn't have one because I live in an apartment and I knew a lot of big dogs in my childhood (all so kind !) and always knew they need proper space and education to be happy in their paws 💜 I also love to see wolves, it's something in their eyes that makes them look so proud, fierce and majestic 🥰 When I look at your blue wolf dog, I can see the same spirit, she's so precious 💜✨

We had a wolfdog Nika, he passed away, and now have another wolfdog Koda, they are the most loyal and loving animals ever! I love them alot! Nika was 96% wolf and husky, Koda is Timber wolf, Grey wolf and siberian husky mix. They very lovable!!!
I love blue wolf dogs, Sadly since it’s temper doesn’t match well with our living situation, we settled on a different but still as rare breed, The Clumber Spaniel!
Clumbers are SO beguiling! ❤Since they're not very common, I'm glad to see that the breed has another dedicated fan. Let's just hope no breed goes through what's happening to the French bulldog this decade.

Man! She's big! I remember as a little kid giving my 100lb German Shepherd a bath. He tolerated it. Lol ! After the bath, I would fall asleep in his protective bosom. She is just gorgeous. Reminds me of a sled dog i knew named Butcho...he could sit down and stare me in the face. And i am over six feet. He was a malamute mixed with a Russian timberwolf. Just beautifully massive. Ocean is just truly magnificent.

My girl is a beautiful black/smoke and my boy Remy is a Blue. So here is the odd thing. My boy blue and your Blue girl look alike!!! My cat is big as MaineCoons are but his eyes are so similar to your girl's. The facial expressions are also similar. Now Ocean doesn't look like a cat as Remy doesn't look like a dog but they look so alike. I am so amazed by this. I wish I could send you a photo of him. The dog I used to have has a lot of the same look as Ocean but was much smaller. Did her DNA and her highest percentages were 70% chow chow and 10% akita. She is my profile pic.

Kumi is beautiful as well. You can tell the way the 2 walk where Ocean still being in her adolescent stage and still unsure of everything. Kumi just walks with a swagger that says “I’m in charge” and “I don’t frighten easily”

My German shepherd is the same in agility and jumping up to your face if you don’t come down to her. Her papers say she is purebred German shepherd, but I’ve noticed that her personality is very similar to wolf dogs.
She is the sweetest thing. I own a male Akita who is very chill until the hunter instinct takes over. Then he doesn't hear me at all. We are around a lot of small dogs often who sense his nature and bark at him all the time. He just ignores them, but I'm not about to take my dog to the dog park.😂 Thanks for all the beautiful videos❤

She's gorgeous! The wife and I have had 3 wolfdogs so we know what a challenge they can be, but so worth it. Timber, our last wolfdog was 125lbs!

Congratulations on the one million! Ocean looks like the dog version of my cat. Pretty sure he’s a Nibelung - he’s very people shy, blue coat with fluff in certain parts of his body, and their tails look about the same. 😊💕

Man! She's big! I remember as a little kid giving my 100lb German Shepherd a bath. He tolerated it. Lol ! After the bath, I would fall asleep in his protective bosom. My grandmother took a picture of it. So wonderful memories.
I loved that dog. He was a guardian a protector. All my life since I have an affinity for sheapards.

She is just gorgeous. Reminds me of a sled dog i knew named Butcho...he could sit down and stare me in the face. And i am over six feet. He was a malamute mixed with a Russian timberwolf. Just beautifully massive. Ocean is just truly magnificent.

First, congratulations on your Award from CZcams!!!! I think your girl is stunning. I have to say something that will sound odd but here goes. I have a brother, sister duo of MaineCoons. My girl is a beautiful black/smoke and my boy Remy is a Blue. So here is the odd thing. My boy blue and your Blue girl look alike!!! My cat is big as MaineCoons are but his eyes are so similar to your girl's. The facial expressions are also similar. Now Ocean doesn't look like a cat as Remy doesn't look like a dog but they look so alike. I am so amazed by this. I wish I could send you a photo of him. Oh my gosh an Ocean episode! I have been following her and you guys this story from the moment I found out about her, as a long time subscriber I was surprised and thrilled to see you finally get a dog that's a little bit closer to the wolf, as we all know that's your dream animal!
I never knew how much I wanted a wolf dog, let alone one that was blue until I saw Ocean! You're also the one that made me realize how much blue agouti Huskies, and they are definitely on my list of dogs to own one day!
Ocean is literally my dream dog, she's beautiful, and her sideburns are absolutely amazing as well as her coat type and fur length! Her and Kal-el are a dream I'm working towards one day! If not then maybe one day I'll have an too Ocean, and perhaps a black version of Ocean as well? Height, eyes, snout and all!

Ocean is beautiful! Love her name! So sorry you are having to deal with all those scammers out there. That must be so annoying! And congrats on the million subscribers! The dog I used to have has a lot of the same look as Ocean but was much smaller. Did her DNA and her highest percentages were 70% chow chow and 10% akita. She is my profile pic.
Honestly I was pretty pissed when people kept misinforming everyone else, and not only that: they stole her reels THEN had the balls the spread even more fake information. Humanity is truly disappointing me; thank you for shining light on the truth! I’ve been beyond myself to not hunt down these people

I used to have a wolf/husky. Her name was Star because of her eyes. She was beautiful!

Kumi is beautiful as well. You can tell the way the 2 walk where Ocean still being in her adolescent stage and still unsure of everything. Kumi just walks with a swagger that says “I’m in charge” and “I don’t frighten easily”

My German shepherd is the same in agility and jumping up to your face if you don’t come down to her. Her papers say she is purebred German shepherd, but I’ve noticed that her personality is very similar to wolf dogs.
Now she must dress up as Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween!👏

She is the sweetest thing. I own a male Akita who is very chill until the hunter instinct takes over. Then he doesn't hear me at all. We are around a lot of small dogs often who sense his nature and bark at him all the time. He just ignores them, but I'm not about to take my dog to the dog park.😂
