I had a storefront promotional poster of this ep on the ceiling of my first apartment. Man those days were crazy. I miss those times. fixing breakfast, cigarette in mouth, bottle of Jack in hand. Maintenance guy walks by the back door says starting early? Hell we never stopped! Terrorized the whole complex. Concert shirts, jump boots live snakes crawling on ya. good times!

We had a tree in the living room that looked like the hellraiser pole with chains and hooks used to let ours snakes crawl on it. some times I wish I could wake up in that dive and be 18 again. Didn't have any money , roomate gave me tickets to the Ramones for 18th birthday Best mosh Pitt Best time ever! Met the girl I wanted to marry that year too. Make friends! Make Memories! Heck Yes to all things we hold in our own souls. I've never respected anyone more than G D when he planned his mother's funeral at his misfits reunion show in NYC a few years back MAXimum RASpect to Glen.
It technically did happen again since that wasn't a true samhain reunion. It was Glenn, London on drums steve zing on bass and Todd youth who was on guitar (he was in danzig at the time) the danzig legacy shows did danzig samhain and misfits (Glenn and Doyle) the samhain portion of those shows was Glenn london steve and instead of Todd who was no longer in danzig it was tommy victor. I saw the danzig legacy show in NYC during one of the worst snow storms right before Halloween and then again in Charlotte NC. It was the closest I ever came to seeing samhain live and probably the closest I will ever come but then again never thought I see the original misfits live which I did.
I was supposed to go to that philly show so mad I missed it. I was really into AFI back then (not anymore) so cool it was that show that led to Davey havok forming son of sam with the samhain guys (london, Steve and todd) that son of sam album rules.
Albums like this are exactly why you should always buy the cheap five dollar records at your store which almost invariably come from a semi local area. You never know if a band a few states/provinces distance away makes it big one day and you had the opportunity to buy a rarity for the price of a couple coffees.
LOL, I think I got my copy of Initium for 99 cents in the bargain bin, probably around 1990 or '91... the renewed interested in all things Danzig hadn't happened, yet!
Not me. I love our corporate box store and strip malls. And now with Amazon, I look forward to drone deliveries. Much better than record shops with bulletin boards to find new band members and dollar misfit pins at the counter

All Murder All Guts throws me back to ‘85 working in a costume shop for Halloween when I was 16.
Some of the best music out there, wish it were more easily available for offline listening. Glenn is ingenious.

One of the best performances of Danzig's was a double bill of Danzig and Samhain back in 1999. I doubt that will happen again.
I was there HOB in Chicago. He did any autograph signing too.
