WoW Terry you've got this lock looking really nice. You even polished up the plug and bible. Crazy bitting on the key didn't stop you from getting the open.
Great stuff Terry!! I love these locks!! Great job getting it opened up! I hate C Clips! Dirty inside as expected lol Wonderful job cleaning it up and getting it keyed up! Beautiful lock once again even with the patina and pitting on it! I'm glad you did this all in one video! Very nice job on picking and getting that pop! Thanks for sharing that experience with us!!
1st if anyone cares have a great day One more thing, even though you may have tested the lock function it's always good to point out to the watchers to test the unlock function without the screw in place, just the nut, to be sure you haven't lost part of the locking mechanism , will depend on the lock. other wise you could brick a lock. Just a good habit.
You can get them on ebay, I don't know exactly what I searched for but the box is originally for "smoking and rolling". I thought it woud make a handy gutting box and that seems to of worked out. Cheers jack 😁👍🐝
Cheers man 😀👍🐝 I've been trying to find a link for it,, I just got the box from ebay, it's a "smokers stash box" but I seen it and thought that would be ideal for gutting tools, it's doing a great job 👍😁👍
Very nice restoration! That patina looks really cool on it without the rust, some good charachter.
Definitely mate, I really love the look of this one now.
