Anno 1800 is a city building real-time strategy video game, developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, and is set to be launched within April 2019.
It is the seventh game in the Anno series, and returns to the use of a historical setting following the last two titles, Anno 2070 and Anno 2205, taking place during the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century.
Following the previous installment, the game returns to the series' traditional city-building and ocean combat mechanics, but introduces new aspects of gameplay, such as tourism, "blue-printing", and the effects of industrialisation influences on island inhabitants.

I just finished binging the whole hardcore playlist and now this! I'm excited
i'm always amazed at how beautiful this game is.
when i play i try to shake things a bit more with the house placement, typically i mix randomly 2x3; 3x2, 2x2, 2x4 and 3x4 blocks. with the occasionnal corner labyrinthine chaos every now and then. i like 4x3s block because leave enough room for a nice symmetrical courtyard in the midde.

Maybe you should have the bigger harbour area mod so you could fit the doclands and other harbour buildings properly and make it look decent
Harborlife hasn't worked for a minute now.
Bugs out and you lose access to the fishery.

@@jesuschristislord7754 I think it's just of spice it up bc I don't know what else it would be. I haven't played in a while so I don't remember but it did work after the harbour life mod broke so I don't know. Maybe I'm just completely wrong and have memory loss or something 😁

Also, so what about a base on the ice? Don't you need that for later elements. Or is it one city in each land sort of deal. (Which is fine).
It actually makes me wonder if a cool modding potential is the creation of an island that has all the resources. That might be fun as a sort of mega-map element. One corner of it is frozen tundra, another section is hot desert, another is the jungle, and the middle is the OW.

I see all the youtubers talking a lot about taxes from the population, but looking at my own numbers in game, taxes seem incredibly minor as far as income goes compared to the value you get from your goods when the citizens consume them.
Those peasants don't get that schnapps for free, and for farmers, it's on par with clothes for profitability. they use both in equal amounts.
Actually. I believe schnapps is a major carrier of the early to mid game economy. Giving both happiness so you can boost both farm and worker tier industries, and boatloads of money in revenue.

I remember doing my first game in this island, pretty strong island but the position of the oil made collecting it non totally efficient

Isn’t there a mod that extends the harbor build space! That would make the defense and industry buildable on harbor areas more efficient! For docklands and such! The defense could be outside the bay mouth

I hate this isnt available on steam.
Please don't do this instead do the max setting combat overhaul against 3 AI which you forgot to do last time which prevented AI from advancing to investors. Which made you playthrough easy. You said that mod works if AI is given large islands and huge maps. Or atleast tell me when are you going to do that. Because I really enjoyed when AI gave you tough match till the end in the military mod.
Edit: I take my words back for a moment, I thought using docklands is illegal. So this may be exciting given that I have never seen such series.
AI gets plenty of space this time because we only take one Island instead of 3-4
