I just purchased and bing watched Rachel Colliers and Mary Spenders teachable Ableton Live Performer course.
Absolutely amazing the information in it.
I was always decent enough with regards to production with Ableton Live, but the performers course open my eyes and brain to all the possibilities within the software for live purposes.
I so Highly recommend the course.
Thank Rachel.
Sneaky sneaky!!!! Thanks a bunch!
You clearly have a gift for sound composition, production and arrangement Rachel and you use it very well. Your work is simply stunning. Thanks you.
Left field tangent but I was today years old when I realized you're the one singing on Mat Zo's track "Only For You" what an awesome tune.
Good to have you back! I like the video and love the desk! Good song!
The Queen of Bass and Drops is back!!
So happy to see you back and thanks for sharing these simple but useful tips!!
Thank you so much for your music and sharing the knowledge that you have. I'm really a baby when it comes to Ableton and all you can do with it and I regularly watch you, Taetro, Sanjay C, LNA, and Mary because I not only love your music, but draw inspiration and learn a lot from you all. I've wondered for a very long time how you incorporate the effects in your music and this video explained it so well. I didn't realize it could be as simple as you explained it and produce such a massive inhancement. I love the RKC style and how unique you've made your music. Thanks again and looking forward to listening to more of you.🙂
Quality content as ever, loving it
These are all great tips. Easy things that really give tracks that sparkle and keep listeners entertained
Thank you for sharing these awesome tips! Definitely going to try them out in upcoming productions.
These are some really incredible production tricks, appreciate the tutorial. Will be referencing this til I use them all.
Very succinct video on how to up your game as a music producer! Taking notes! That desk looks amazing, no lies.
your tips & tricks are always so fucking helpful. thanks for constantly supporting others in your community, like with this bomb ass giveaway. any of these prizes would be awesome. the lead (I wanna see you later) is a fav lyric and the reverse vocal trick was a great bts. hope to hear more from you two again!
Hi Rachel, I come from pop-rock music and am now learning house tracks, trance and techno. You are great in Ableton so thanks for explaining everything. Blessings from Belgium.
I came across your channel in my pursuit of learning more about live looping. Then discovered your music, and how dope of a producer you are. Thanks for putting out useful and interesting content. I also really dig your music. My favorite line has got to be "The rumors true, that you're the two, role players" or at the beginning "Chameleon, revealed to none, your ways" (I can't quite make out whether it's 'revealed' or 'prevail to none') - I'd like to win the zoom with RKC and Anni; I think it would be great to meet both of you and learn more about your journey's through the music world. Keep making dope music!
You have been away for far to long!!! Love the SONG!!! Well done!!!
Really great tips! Thanks Rachel 🤘😎🤘
thiss production is soo good !!💖 really inspiring ! gonna be using these tips !
Let’s all get……..Naked 😊 cool 😎 tips 👏👏👏…..hope your tune zooms 🚀
Thanks for theses simple but fire production tips !
Good work again Racheal :) Thanks for sharing your insights
Great tips, much appreciated!
Love how simple these techniques are! Ive been a logic producer for more than a decade and recently started using ableton more seriously as well (used it time to time for live click tracks and midi triggering before but never for studio work) and its actually quite eye opening how the tool (daw) you use tells you what is simple and what is not, and been loving the simplicity of ableton’s automation. Yes its just as simple in logic for the most part but to have the plugin gui all within visibility in the bottom panel as the automation actually takes place is quite meaningful and inspiring, especially when you map things to lfo tool and see them move with the track!
Love your tips always!!
Super useful productions tips!! Thankyou
great video! the master Fx thing is absolutely fine, your 100% right. I personally like a HP filter, Reverb and a Delay to help build ups.
THanks for alll that you do, I love y0ur music and of course your helpful vids on ableton , When you come to ny i will be there! Thanks again Rachel.
Thanks for sharing the insight!
A nice reminder that even small things makes the music come alive. Thank you!
Always Inspiring Rachel !
Thanks Rachel. Awesome video
Been a fan since Earthquake and always appreciate your tips, and it's pretty cool you're also doing giveaways! Hoping to shoot for the lewitt or the standing desk if I every get lucky! For the lyrics, I found "I'm not sure if I wanna see you naked" really clever with adding a flirty push-pull tension instead of a straight up love song with "wants and needs." All in all loving this bouncy vibe and It's going to see a lot of plays from me!
I'm excited to work through your ableton course. I'm planning on starting next week and really looking forward to learning from you.
Thanks for the tips, as always, well presented! Plan to take your Ableton Live Course soon. Keep on producing.
Nice tips, as always RKC. I've been eyeing off a sit/stand desk for a while, as I have a recurring back pain issue - so throwing my hat in the ring! :)
Oh wow those are some cool enhancements with the automation on the master. The flexispot standing desk seems perfect for live looping and moving from instrument to instrument! Also probably ideal for proper posture strengthening the back instead of always sitting while producing. A dream set up! 😍
Thanks so much for tips Rachel.
Always love a RKC tip video!
Hi from Vancouver Rachel! Great tips and info, as always...... Thanks so much for sharing.
Another great video ! Thks !
Nice video full of good tips as always. Tx Rachel 👍🏼
Genius creative tips and ideas to keep the production process moving.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!:)
It's always the small things, that amaze me, hearing your productions :)
Thanks for the tips!
thanks for another great video!
Such a lovely desk, I need one!
excellent video. love these tricks.
Very useful info and love that track!
Nice to see you again
Thx, you are amazing producer!
hey heyyy new push! Love the new track!
Great tips that sound toys on the master you just opened my mind to new possibilities thanks
Love it! ❤
Rachel!! Holy cow that vocal half time trick gave me chills
I always use your performances as examples on my classes of what you can do with ableton and push!
Glad I found this video!
Thx for all the tips! And the giveaway!
Great tips!!!
Love your videos and music 👏🏻❤️🕺🏻
Love using reverse. Vocals, drums, swells etc… thx for sharing
great video as usual
Great vid, as usual
Oh Rachel, someday you'll play Portland OR and I'll be there. I love your manner as you share these kind of technical tips. Thank you for these, but mostly I want to say thank you for the new music. And... who doesn't love getting naked?! From going back to one's childhood to sharing the "wild" passionately with a dear companion!
Great tips as always from Rachel, and I recommend her Ableton MUSIC production course too! ACE!
Great tips!
great song! thanks for the tips!
Great song!
Purchased and shared!
Fav lyric: ‘I’m dubious, confused about us, should I stay’? (we’ve all been there haven’t we 😊)
Would love to win one of your random vintage t-shirts.
Why? Already purchased the guitar course and am currently well enough set up….and probably too embarrassed for a chat 😂 Love both of your work and please do more of these!!!! Much love and respect
Great thanks for these tips and to the chance you offer us to win
That's a dope production
Excellent delivery, madam. Nice tropical motive on your walls - palm and/or banana trees? I'm presently gazing out through Goa monsoon rains, at similar shrubbery. It's inspiring as a studio and home, for sure. Keep up the good work, peace
super cool! love #2 .. never touched that button before
Weeeeee!!!! Favorite part of the song are the reversed vocals! So cool. Love to win the Flexispot desk!
I'm definitely going to be using your videos to improve my craft. Currently I make the instrumentals for the group I'm in (still haven't mastered mastering, lol). I have been using ableton live for a while and never knew just how much it can do.
The crystallizer on the Master trick was very cool! As always, your production tips are super inspiring Rachel!
Very cool tips...always love to listen ;-)
Really great insight for someone who just started with synth and production a few months ago. It might be a different vocal technique, but I think it's maybe in Don't Know What where you're doing the reverse vocal trick?
My favorite lyric for Naked is probably "I'm dubious; confused about us. Should I stay?" There's a good mix of the song's POV being flirty, but also having that insecurity that comes with spending time with a crush the first few times.
As for the giveaway, I'd be super happy to get either the Lewitt Audio LCT 440 PURE or a one hour zoom call with you both. The microphone would give me the opportunity to start adding lyrics to things I've been working on, and the zoom call would be a great opportunity for me to ask some questions about not only this track, but get some more insight into what helps you both find inspiration for tracks like this that go so hard.
Thanks for being so present and helpful in the community!
Beautiful song
The FlexiSpot desk is great for people who have suffered from sciatica!
This desk is back saver, especially for a tall person
Cool stuff
You are so talented! Checked you out on Spotify - Loved your music!
Thanks!
Excellent! Thanks :-)
Nice one! 👍🙂👏
niice... thx for the tips
I love your music!! I would love to win that desk also!! 😂😂😂
Awesome, as ever. Keen to know how you export stems with processing on the master. Does this not affect the overall balance when recombining? Also, it sounds like the vid is in mono and, as such, a couple of the panning transitions are not coming through. Really loving the ideas, though! Defo going to be listening to the album!
When the reverse vocal came in I thought you were giving us a little bit of welsh there for a minute but then I heard it the reversed vocal sounds like R and Anni are all alreet you know :D
Yes... It's the dancing in front of the desk that I want!
Great video and song Rachel and Anni!
Love the lyric "I'm not sure that I want to see you naked" - I know it comes early in the song, but it's such a good hook. Bold statement, intriguing, and it says a lot.
If I were so lucky as to win a prize, I'd love the Lewitt Audio LCT 440 PURE because a condenser microphone would really help me produce better recordings and samples (yay working with audio over midi!) and I can't really afford to buy one at the minute!
would love to see more master tricks
Thanks for the tips! Pick me for the desk!😂
great tips! trying all of these 🖤 (ps: definitely heard that vox reverse trick in You Can Pretend, no?)
Hi Rachel, What computer monitor is that?? I'm looking for a good curved monitor. Thanks!! great video BTW thank You gave me some ideas and inspiration!!
Rachel...what is your monitor brand, model and it's brief specs please...always a pleasure to hear you ❤
YES RACHEL. you're back with those priceless tips and an absolute banger of a release.
I was wondering when you was going to start making content on the Push 3
It is interesting the subject of FX on the Master channel. I would have thought that it makes sense to leave the channel dry to allow DJs or you to apply those FX when you play live. I guess one could do 2 versions, a radio edit already FXed and a dry version for live performance.
Really love your unique style of production and it inspires me alot ❤❤
