You should do a cheap vs expensive cake! Like your cheap vs expensive roast dinner vid but for a cake! So you would use expensive sugar and the cheap non branded sugar and so on and compare results
could you perhaps do a bake off technical challenge against your dad where your mum picks the recipe and blind judges them?

@@AbbieMiddleton2024 yesss !!!! We mainly shop in Aldi and Asda cause they are the only big shops near us. The Sainsbury’s is just a little one but we HAVE to get the caterpillar cake from them. Can’t be dealing with the icing face needs to be a bit of white choc !!
The Patisserie Valerie looked the most aesthetically pleasing for my personal tastes, I must admit. I would have been over the moon with that as a birthday cake! I wouldn't mind it turning up frozen if it meant preserving the quality of it.
