  • In this tutorial you will learn to create realistic BUTTERCREAM Barnacles- aka the PERFECT addition to any sea life cake!
To learn how to create the buttercream textures on the cake itself, check out the most recent American Cake Decorating Magazine for my sweet friend Christine Leaming’s (Sweets Geeky Cakes) tutorial, Watercolor Wonder! (Issue 419, April 2019, pages 26 & 27). For another cool cake with frozen buttercream techniques, check out my sweet friend Deva Williamson’s (Big Laugh Kitchen) tutorial in the same issue on pages 46-48! Both are amazing buttercream artists, and I took a lot of inspiration from their work!
The fishnet lace is made from Icing Images FlexFrost. Get your own FlexFrost here: www.icingimages.com/#_l_21
