Inflation is one of the most important things in macroeconomics. There is more than one cause behind inflation like demand-pull inflation, cost-push inflation and currency depreciation etc. All these causes are explained in detail in this video. The opposite of inflation which is deflation is also a bad thing to happen. There is a correlation between inflation and unemployment. This relation is also explained in this video. The government and the central banks of each country try to control inflation via different methods. In India, inflation is controlled by the reserve bank of India through monetary policy. The government also tries to control inflation via taxation and spending. All these are explained with examples. This video will give a clear picture of Inflation, Deflation, Monetary Policy etc.
