great idea having the extra fuel tanks on the back to halt any debris getting caught up in the track (ok so it did) and then flying round over the top of the turret (fortunately that didn't happen)
i've heard of it happening and folk getting injured - and i have seen for myself how far debris can be thrown, the display track at the old Hop Farm at Paddock Wood some years back was around fifty feet from the wooden fence and crowd line, a door got caught for some time at the rear, the tank turned and the door flew round, hurled itself in the direction of the crowd fortunately stopping at the fence (imagine if had been just mine tape and kiddies in the front row) i think the chap in the cupola was a little shocked too as it flew past missing him (very very lucky)
car crushing is great fun for both tank and the crowd, at least until it all goes pair shaped - for safeties sake its best not to have people on the turret, or at least having somewhere to dive and take cover while watching where the debris is going

Huh? that Morris, from a glance, looked like it was in the process of being restored, I didn't even notice any real rust from a glance, even the wheels looked pretty shiny, I honestly don't understand why you didn't just, yk, sell it? was there any real reason to do this, though?
I'm sorry, it's just stuff like this does my head in, crush perfectly good or even restorable cars, and make up laughable excuses as to why they decided to this instead.
It was advertised for weeks before it was sent for scrap, nobody wanted it and we got it after it had been legally scrapped so couldn’t go on the road ever again
