Ya.... well, it doesn't always work like that. I "co-habitated" with a GF ( she moved in, for over 6 years) and when she was employed, which she was off and on, I asked her to chip in to help... it didn't happen more than 20% of the time, and i was paying her cellphone bill for a while as well. Worse than that though, she would often run me out of groceries, and not feel the need to put them on the list for the next shopping trip . THEN, she begged me to get a cat, and she did find a wonderful rescue, BUT over the years she ( the cat) had 2 hospital visits, costing me over $2500, and she said she would reimburse me, but that never happened either ( I ended up keeping the cat) Live and learn, it's a nice thought, but in reality.. not a working model.

I'd make the argument that we single people get the best night sleep! Have you ever been on vacation with some of these married people? My God their snoring is horrible! How the hell do you sleep with these people? I go on vacation with a friend or family member, my sleep is ruined for the week! It's horrible! No wonder the divorce rate is through the roof! As women pay a greater price biologically than men in terms relative to procreation it is natural for them to reject any candidate who is below them on the economic hierarchy.
Just enjoy being single, Jenny, love usually finds you when you least expect it too. Also, you have the possibilities of many, many, many location real close for a day trip, over night trip or even a two or three day little get away with so much to go see around County of San Diego up to Las Vegas over to Arizona. Just avoid Los Angeles; that's a cesspool.
