Savinelli Roma 806 Pipe Unboxing

UPDATE: I have some discovered that the reason this pipe does not look straight, is that the inside of the bit where it inserts into the shank was on an angle! I heated it up with my trusty Zippo, bent it straight, and it's now perfectly straight! 🔥🔥🔥

Love those lumbermans and lovats with their saddle bit stems-by far my favorite shapes. I’ve also gravitated (over the years) to the slightly smaller sizes like this one. IMO the rusticated shank makes it more difficult to construct perfectly straight or maybe it’s just an illusion. Either way, I like it and obviously you do too👍🏻
