I've been searching for these messages for years. I was privileged to be a member of a church where Pastor Venden preached back in the 80s. Now more than ever do we need to get back to the root of everything. These messages drove me forward as a teenager and a young adult and have held fast during all these years. Studying these basic truths has lit a new fire in my soul!
    Thank you Jesus!

Amen!!!! God sent me the RBF message at the time I was leaving the church, ( 8o's) via cassette Tapes. I saved every single one of them.... they mean the world to me. I'm packing to move today and again the treasure of those cassette tapes ,with the message of my dear Saviour , goes with me. Here I remain after 38 years relying on the righteousness of Christ.

I am happy that righteousness by faith is coming back into the SDA church. It last appeared in the 70s and 80s, but there were so many versions and much confusion, so eventually the subject died. Many Adventists sit in darkness on this subject. According to Ellen White this subject (called by her as Christ our righteousness) will prevail and swallow up every other subject (Sons & Daughters of God, p. 259). Bill Liversidge does a nice job explaining it. So does Bill Lehman. Just glad it's back.

After 35 years of post traumatic stress from violent church hell and abuses…this finally makes sense…and finally a blessing.

Our righteousness is irreversable because it never depended on us. This is the root which will bring forth the fruit of an obedient lifestyle.

Wrong. If we depart from Jesus then we no longer have righteousness.

This was a beautiful statement. The implication is that our righteousness is dependent wholly on Jesus as long as we are with Him. Which is why he ends the comment about living an obedient life. Clearly it is a life lived in Jesus.

Amen! My heart is warmed to read the comments here. I long for the church to grasp this wonderful message. When I first heard it 38 years ago I just assumed every one would embrace it and we would go home but they don't. Laodicean's don't need it :( . I'm 66 now and have given up on the message swelling to a loud cry in my life time.
Someday though the message of our dear Saviour will reach a perishing world.

Righteousness by faith is through a daily intimate relationship with Jesus. Three things will happen 1. Daily Prayer, 2. Daily Reading/Listening to His Word and Daily Working with Him by being a light.
Four Things that God does not know.
    1. God doesn't know a sin He doesn't hate
    2. God doesn't know a sinner He doesn't love.
    3. God Doesn't know a sinner He doesn't forgive.
    4. God doesn't know a better time than now.

Sometimes I think they should really remove the like/unlike buttons on youtube. Everyone should really study the Bible and decide for themselves what is truth rather than base it on what anyone else thinks. I have been studying this important subject for a while now and I have found nothing wrong with his teaching. But again, don't take my word for it. Study for yourselves and see if he's teaching truth or not. Don't base your salvation on someone else's opinion.

he's saying u can lose ur righteousness by turning away from Jesus. in Ephesians 1:13 New International Version (NIV)
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
the holy spirit serves as a guarantee. sure, u can turn away from a relationship with jesus but thats just forfeiting ur 'cadillac' and all its benefits while u live here. even if u die while turned away, the holy spirit is still ur guarantee. God does not go back on His word.

The focal point is conditional it says clearly "when you believed" the moment you no longer believe, the the Spirit of God will no longer abide with you, but will work in your heart. This thing of once saved always saved is wrong.

Depends on which "pioneer" . Need to read the history. When Jones and Waggoner brought the message ( study 1888) most of the leadership including E Smith and the current president rejected the message and went as far as exiling EGW to Australia for standing behind it. So NO the SDA pioneers did not accept or understand it.
EGW says when it comes again brothers and sisters in the church will call it a "faults light" and resist it.
As wonderful as it is, the evidence is, the church (as a whole) will reject it again the same as 1888.
