An interesting interview, with a "jump right in" reccomendation vs other reviewers complaining the game doesn't hold your hand or explain its mechanics well. You seem to be someone who doesn't think a game needs those things, and prefers to figure it out for themselves. Thanks for existing, I'm subscribing.
I'm loving the game! I believe the devs delivered exactly what they have been marketing, not to mention a roguelike priced accordingly at $30 instead of $40, $50, $60 like others! Well done and a very good and unique game.

Bought the game on sale for seven bucks a couple days ago. Easily the best game I've gotten in a while.I think it needs a next-gen remaster
There's more to this game than this review lets on. I've been playing for a week and it has me transfixed. It's a beautiful game with quite a few surprises and loads of oldskool sci-fi tips of the hat. 'Aliens' fans might enjoy this game a little too much ;)
Get in, get your resources, setup your defences, deal with alien outbreaks of interesting new creatures, upgrade, utilise, defend, marvel at the procedurally generated nightmare planets set to synth horror music... well worth the £10 I payed for it.
Looks fantastic. I love games like NMS and Elite Dangerous, so i guess this is a safe bet for me.

To add to your review... The game is cheap made by 3 people and for at least 1 year in alpha... This means that many issue's will be solved... also for a early access this game is damn impressive!!!
If I had seen this earlier then I would not have purchased it
sounds like IGN reviewer cherry picking sub negative points to address a game he acts like he's comparing it a triple A developer when about 3 people made this...I bet he played 10 hours. Good game, watch some other independent reviews who praise this game
