What’s the money like around Heathrow?
Well that's 46k a year job for 4 days a week. You can then add 2 extra days as over time alternative weeks and an extra day the other weeks. Puts your money Upto 62,400. You then earn 80k a year at which on the 17k extra you pay 40% so you actually earn 10k more. I guarantee hgv less stress, better mental health and for an extra 10k I'd be a hgv driver over an engineer any day of the 4 day week I can work. See ya
4 on 4 off, not 4 days a week. And I guarantee that the hours are maxed out for those 4 days, probably 12 hour shifts and then sleeping the night in the truck. That's normal for class 1 work.

@@mosesgideon1115 first you will apply for your provisional and do theroy test after you will go for your car test I think after getting your car license u have to wait I think 1 year if I'm not wrong then you will apply for hgv provisional again then you will do theory CPC hazard then all practical modules to get your license P.S I will advise any one who wanna be hgv driver get your car license drive LWB van for atleats 2 plus year get knowledge and experience on the road then go for hgv or pcv license in that case you won't waste your money
