Around 10 years ago the three Tims began playing together after meeting at the Junior Royal Academy of Music in London. Throughout the past decade they have worked together at numerous festivals across Europe, and finally this past Summer found time to record some of the most wondrous material for string trio.

That is beautiful and especially Variation XIX a model. Possibly the extended reverberation of the church volume helps a bit to enrich the sound. But we were having a debate as to whether Tim Ridout was using a carbon fibre bow in this and the Mozart Divertimento. Whatever, not only have we deeply enjoyed this performance but have also learned from it and many thanks.
