Man, I love the idea of just one Space Marine that ended up with a slight quirk in his gene-seed such that instead of kicking in a door and screaming “My Faith is My Shield!” and blasting heretics, he shouts, “Hello! :)” and blasts heretics.

00:01 "BAM!" is exactly the noise a Boltgun shell makes when exploding inside a heretic's body.
Kraken Penetrator Rounds are one of the ammo types first introduced in the days of the old, separate Inquisition Codizes for the Deathwatch Kill Teams of the Ordo Xenos (which never got their own Codex ;__; ). They had AP4 and a range of 30 inches as opposed to AP 5 / 24 inches of the regular ammo. Then there was a Dragonsbreath Round that ignored Cover, some poison round that wounded on 2+ and some unstable ammo that even had AP3 but only 18 inch range.
The Space Marine Sternguard Veterans were pretty much a copy of the old Deathwatch Kill Teams and had their ammo variants as well.
Hell, generally speaking, sterngaurd veterans are what the marines that survived their tour in the Deathwatch commonly become. If not vanguard vets or terminators, of course.

Yeah, I've played about 40 minutes so far, and it feels great to play, looks fantastic, and captures the setting very well.
Josh picked the wrong inquisitor game for when tom was talking about frag grenades. He meant the tabletop rpg from 2001, not Inquisitor: Martyr, which is a videogame from last gen.
Tom should see if he can arrange to go speak with the developers. The game was made in Bristol, after all!

A boomer shooter reviewer said it took them 8 hours (hardest difficulty). So Tom pace on normal should be about the same

I'm pretty sure I read that all the sprites from this game are pictures of real miniatures which is pretty neat.

I just love how this is dealing with the aftermath of the first Warhammer 40K Space Marine game. Literally cleaning up the mess Captain Titus... Probably would have cleaned himself if the Inquisition didn't arrest him.

This must be the ONLY Warhammer 40k game where the Boltguns actually behave and feel as they should by the lore.
They fire high explosive mini-rockets. But how come almost every other official WH40k game made them feel like they fire regular bullets?

I always find it funny when one loyalist Space Marine can just chew right through like 40 chaos Space Marines. Like, after they defect does Khorne just steal all the fancy bits out of their armor like a car left unlocked in Detroit?

I love this video so much! Hearing Tom’s excitement and enthusiasm gives me energy and I will never tire of listening to him spout off facts and information about everything that shows up. If this video was 10 hours long I would happily spend my whole day watching it!

WOOOOOOOO, I have been looking forward to this game since I saw the trailer a few months back, and my god did it live up to the hype, its just so fantastic. Although I haven't played it yet, just watching tells me that it defiantly feels good to play :D
