A waterworld. Lots of swimming. Feel somewhat right at home due to having played Year of the Dragon, which saw the return of the manta ray in one of the water levels.
I remember those metal sharks use to scare me a lot when I was a kid, I always feared of going to their location but once I found out the flame blast kills them, it was such a satisfying relief lol
The metal sharks are scary as hell... but the underwater superflame is one of the best powerups as far as the SFX and VFX went. And satisfying to blast the gits with!
Once the whole level filled with water, I used to swim around pretending I was flying, since the timers in the actual flying levels made me anxious. Plus the noises of spyro swimming around all fast were so satisfying….
Ah. Aquaria Towers...home of seahorses, water workers, and worst of all......ugh.....The Dreaded F***ing Invincible Metal Sharks.....that is, until you up the edge in your favor HAHA!!!
Lillian Hancock They don't sell this game anymore except on the PlayStation Network. So you have to buy that online, or you have to wait for the Reignited Trilogy to come out this year for the PS4.
Technically, it's TRULY compatible with PS1 and PS2 consoles; because in order for you to save the game is when you have a physical memory card. I learned that the hard way since I never had a PS1 card.
The opening scene always makes me sad :(

I still get stupidly worried seeing the green glow of the shark enclosure!!
Wow, that submarine scene seemed so much longer when I was 10...

I think the developers were trying to trick players into thinking that they can't go there without dying.
@@PS3PS2fan why would they do that
I remember this level so well...so many memories

I remember Aquaria Towers. Especially the manta ray minigame; did both courses.

This stage reminds me of Finding Nemo.
My favorite level as a kid! How nostalgic
It took a little while for me to find the hole in the roof at the start to reach the orb games.
This level was really great
0:04 - 0:19 true trolling
Definitely my 1st favorite Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage level
Fun fact: That's Nemesis (RE3) voice on metal shark on last cutscene.

It's only $6 on PS3
I can play this on my ps3 but it says there's no memory card O.o when I have a internal one.

What sort of personality does Hunter have in the original trilogy?? I can't pin it down; his voice is...kind of odd.
good level
Not really....
I remember that
Do you want a coffee
I didn't play this game until the trilogy...I don't like Hunters original voice cause of it.
That's a pretty shallow reason to not play it....
The worst Spyro level ever.....
Completely disagree. This is my favourite Spyro level of the whole trilogy
Sure was a cheap game like every game that has lives
