If I had to guess at what most likely happened, I was taking a close look at your message log to see how quickly things are spawning or being destroyed. The Rebel fighters are being destroyed VERY quickly, looks like not long after they spawn. It could be you actually got incredibly lucky and wiped out enough enemy fighters that your own allies were simply dominating the area and destroying them as they came out, thus preventing further torpedo attacks. It usually takes a minute or so for the bombers to start firing once they spawn (depending on how close the enemy fleet is to the Harpax at any given point in the mission). Without being able to repeat reliably, hard to say if this was the issue for sure but it seems the most likely explanation. You can always press M to bring up the inflight map to see a real time tactical overlay of what's going on.
I will say that the mission is intended (as of this point) to be the hardest mission in the entire Reimagined campaign, however it has been noted its too hard even on Easy. If you're playing on Hard this is fine, its meant to be absolutely punishing!
The Predator destroyer is a fan work by one of our team members, when I saw it I knew it would be perfect as a flagship for Zaarin. I have plans for this ship and will serve as a final "boss" fight at the end of Reimagined when it's finished.
One final thing, Ali Tarrak is not related to Booster Terrik, similar last name but spelt differently. She's a character that pops up in TIE Fighter (Classic campaign) but I moved her introduction and the Nami forces to Battle 6 instead of Battle 9/10 for Reimagined :)
I think what happened here, is that single hutt craft distracted the imperial crafts long enough that the X-Ws and A-Ws got closer, and the TIEs just focus fired on them after the hutt craft died, killing them fast, then being able do the same with every wave of rebel starfighters
What makes this mod is the amazing voice actor angel managed to hire for all the briefings and in-mission updates.

I'll say this much, even though precisely none of the betrayals in this game come as a surprise, there's enough suspension of disbelief by everyone else involved, that it seems far less egregious than a newer game, and it's far and away better than, "Somehow, Palpatine returned".
Also, that Star Destroyer looks like someone mated a Venator with a Sith Empire Harrower...very based. Imma have to mod that into Empire at War

the tie navigation screens make so much more sense now that you explained it to me in the last video.
and the strange destroyer looks like one of the old clone war era ships.
the side mounted hangers make me wonder, what does a capital ship gunnery duel look like in star wars? is it generally side on or head on? is there a "line of battle" or do they just castle up and slug it out? depending on naval doctrine a side mounted hanger could be weak spot.
