Hil St Soul at Hideaway, London's premier live music and comedy club The stunning Neo-soul and jazz grooves of the wonderful Hil St Soul return to Hideaway for two nights. www.hideawaylive.co.uk/calendar
I heard this song recently on satellite radio while driving in my car and it instantly put me in a good mood! I love everything about it: her vocals, the rhythm & beats, and the bass line! It's the ultimate Friday after work song! Thank you!
This is the music that would be relevant yesterday, today and tomorrow. it has no timeline because its always that voice and sound can't follow trend. Its classic soul forever......love you Hill St Soul.
Hilary Mwelwa & Hil St Soul -one of the best entries on the UK soul scene in the early 2000s. She still endures to this day, great lyrics, vocals, arrangements. Eternally grateful for being turned onto her, wish her continued success and WHEN IS AMERICAN MUSIC going to scoop her up? Come on, man, the UK has so many great artists!
It's a shame isn't it? I mean, for me to hear that beautiful R&B/Jazz/Funk fusion I've got to listen to bands from the UK. I noticed towards the end of her song she incorporated some of The Gap Band's "Yearning For Your Love". It's like the United States is trying to deprive us of this genre of beautiful music.
@@martyemmons1859 I appreciate an artist who puts together a themed album. That's a lost art -to be able to take listeners on the journey the artist was on when they wrote their songs. Wow, she would be AWESOME at Hollywood Bowl, LA Greek, or Berkeley Greek. Especially Berkeley, there's just something about that place and the acoustics.
Love Hil St Soul and Hillary Mwelwa, these guys & gals are some of the best to come out of Britain in the last 20 years. Can't wait to see them live -BUCKET LIST!!
Been listening to Miss Mwelwa for years, and her music, her band, her backup singers....just get better & better. She has her own sound and it's fantastic. Anyone unfamiliar with her CDs? Go on out there & find all of them -you will not be disappointed!
