fellow juniors who want to do engineering ...there is a lot of saturation and competition in engineering and mbbs...even after completing 4 years of btech or diploma u will have no job and u will be left with no other option rather than doing masters which is even more hectic for which u have to again prepare for GATE exam ... my main motive is not to demotivate u but i wanna say there are many other carrier options u can pursue where there is not much saturation and compititiion ..choose wisely rather than regretting after 4 years
BTech karo cs Mai, grind in coding and push for MS in good university.agr MS possible nahi hai tau GATE prepare karo and try to get Mtech in tier 1 IITs or nits.
More and More Engineering Colleges, Law Colleges and Business Schools must be started in Kashmir...K students most likely get distracted and fall prey to certain lethal addictions outside ..👌👌

Be prepared, but as an insider in the department and an Alumnus of NIT Srinagar I tell you future of PDD is dark, its heading towards privatisation and the working conditions are worst. U better try for something else like IAS or jkas. Engineers especially electrical engineers have little value. Gone are those days.we have been decimated by the beurocracy.
Great initiative, engineering is a booming sector (any branch) but if you are maintaining the quality this should be not an factory producing engineers it should be an institute producing creative minds, I actually was planning the same but due to financial strain I was not able to invest such a huge amount. We need engg colleges, medical colleges, but we need to think how to place the students after they done with degrees, do we have tie ups with industries? The existing colleges/universities never thought about it. I am an engg grad with 9 yrs exp in different MNC's, what I would recommend to the next gen is that have a degree, but train and unskill yourself for industry oriented courses, just degrees don't help in getting a job. That's the reason we have PHD holders teaching in high-schools for 8k Rs.

The exposure we get outside kashmir is excellent ,because we see international students and the students from almost each and every state . We talk to them , we get to know about their idealogy , tradition and how to improve personality development .i'm sorry but i need to tell our j&k education is 10, 20 years behind than education of outside ksshmir . Building ecucation doesn't mean you'll provide everything , not at all Some people may disagree , once you go to best engineering college , you may see the difference . AFTER completing btech many mnc's are providing opportunities at selected state private engg colleges ,where our state is far behind in such kind of opportunities , here is only one thing whether its btech , msc , bsc Just one need to prepare for other govts exams Fact :- GOVT FUNDED COLLEGES ARE BETTER THAN PRIVATE COLLEGES IF YOU WANT TO GO INTO ENGG.
