Fox: I'm sending the data to you guys. Peppy: Looks like the pollution has already started. Slippy: It's awful! Falco: This thing will never hold together!
I feel Zoness and Sector X do a better job at giving you a “What the hell happened here?” sort of vibe. Especially when you factor in the in-game dialogue from mostly Falco.
I'm not sure if I'm the first one to say this but, see if you relate.. When I was a teenager I remember some of my early smoking memories were packing a bowl to this on loop, and laying out watching the stars, eyes closed, it teleported my mind to different places. You got to love it, life.
My friends and I had this game and I remember the first time I went to this level, I was very surprised for the submarine mission. Then I told everybody about the océan level and the submarine but nobody trusted me, geez.
Wait a second. That map is wrong. You can't go to Solar from Aquas, only Zoness, and Sector X can go warp, Macbeth, or Titania. Titania goes straight to Bolse, which is why I always wanted to kill slippy for trying to be a hero.
Hace poco mi novia hizo posible que mi Nintendo 64 funcionara de nuevo, y no sé por qué razón, lo que más amé en ese momento fue llegar al nivel acuático Aquas y escuchar este soundtrack. ¡Es hermoso!
No one talks about the level of quality {Daniel A} has of these OSTs Must've been ripped straight from the Game as the Reverb and Compression of the tracks are Genuine!
Really beautiful music to listen to for a beautiful level. The only thing I didn't like too much about the level was how dark it was despite it making sense.
Well, I sure have, I'll tell u that much... From Swimming (Both from Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3, particularly the Super Mario All-Stars version, if anything), to Aquatic Ambience (Donkey Kong Country) and Maridia (Underwater Rocky Area) [Super Metroid], to Water World (DKC 3) and Jolly Roger Bay/Dire, Dire Docks (Super Mario 64), to this song from Star Fox 64, to Inside the Space Pirate Frigate (Frigate Orpheon) [Metroid Prime]. And that's the way they're supposed to be as they are meant to resemble a peaceful environment, so Nintendo has thus always ensured to replicate that feeling/vibe. At least that's what I see, or how I view it. It's quite obvious, actually. And no doubt that Nintendo has gone a long way and has very much succeeded in accomplishing this task over the years so far. And I'm sure that they'll never fail, ease drop, or have a decline in this department of their music b/c it's essential to any game that happens to have underwater levels/stages/planets. After all, let's face it: it's not like every game has an underwater theme. Even if that were true, Nintendo would still strive to do at least a decent job, if not make an epic tune or track... Nintendo DELIVERS, my friend! And at the end of the day, that's all that matters! :-)
The boss in this area is pretty easy to beat, if you managed to go through the orb launchers protecting the columns and the eye. Of course you still need to blast through the 3 orb launchers on top of the shell
Tony Robbins: "Everybody stay positive and love one another? Can I get an Amen?" Audience: "AMEN!!" Falco: "This thing will never hold together!" Tony Robbins and Audience: 😳
ok, am i being gaslit, did i miss something, why are there multiple maps saying you can go from aquas to solar, no video or article says it besides maps like that
Wow, really? I loved this level. It really shows the extent of Andross' pollution on planets, to the point he can turn a beautiful utopia into a horribly contaminated defense zone. Not to mention it's packed with enemies, which always kept me on my toes. But I guess you could say it goes on a little too slowly. personally I never noticed it.
When a lot is happening in screen, it does tend to lag a bit. A good example is when you encounter the swarm of enemies after you pass the ruins. It does make it easier to dodge though. 😅
Fox: “Ok, Slippy, I’m in the Blue Marine, how do I launch?”
Great Fox: *YEEEET*
Fox: I'm sending the data to you guys.
Peppy: Looks like the pollution has already started.
Slippy: It's awful!
Falco: This thing will never hold together!
Peppy: Slippy's not such a srew up after all.
Slippy: Thanks a lot, Peppy!
Falco: Fine I'll admit you did good Slippy!
Slippy: Geez Falco you too?
YEAH.
DO A BARREL ROLL!
(Z or R twice)
Falco: I’ll take the sky anyday
"How's the Blue-Marine, Fox?"
Amazing soundtrack and the level was good too.
+straswa Peppy: It's a good thing you prepared slip.
Thanks Peppy
Austin Calloway I love this level but those damn starfish tho
This thing will never hold together.
"Sheesh Falco you too?" -Slippy
God. Why is all water level game music amazing?!
Has anyone else noticed this?
Me too
Void concepts tend to stretch imagination cores
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't hate water levels. Though I do see why people hate them
Aquas is one level a friend of mine really enjoyed watching me go through
do you like Labyrinth theme from Sonic 1?
Hearing this theme amidst the level really makes you realize that you are in the middle of the hard path, let the chaos
chaos begin*
Falco: This thing will never hold together.
I am in on the tablet PC.
Love the sad vibe of this music. Makes you feel bad about what happened to this place and makes you mad at Andross for doing such a thing.
I feel Zoness and Sector X do a better job at giving you a “What the hell happened here?” sort of vibe. Especially when you factor in the in-game dialogue from mostly Falco.
Yeah like the old glory of an ancient civilization being discovered.
It’s awful!
Lol 11 year old comment…. Wow, but I agree.
I'm not sure if I'm the first one to say this but, see if you relate.. When I was a teenager I remember some of my early smoking memories were packing a bowl to this on loop, and laying out watching the stars, eyes closed, it teleported my mind to different places. You got to love it, life.
This has so much vapor-wave potential!
Virgilio Baez we need someone to work on the *A S T H E T I C S* version and fast!
Yeah you right this feels very vapor wavy
This song can be used as an underwater soundtrack doing deep aqua, swimming with dolphins snorkeling with turtles or riding the waves.
Looping this while watching live stream of Nautilus deep dive operations. Pure win.
I never noticed that background melody before...so beautiful.
Ohai!
Slippy: Look out behind you
This is my song when I'm in a submarine during a bounty in GTA Online
don't fuck around with the fuck around and approach CRUSH DEPTH while ur enchanted with this piece of music then. loool!
B.H.B. TV Ghey
Play the Manhunts bitches also too from R*
Star Fox is a LOT better than GTA, just sayin'
God I love nintendo music
It's Beautiful.
"I'm gonna check out the bio-weapon."
When Humans Finally discover like 95% of Earths Ocean ;)
something about the echo in star fox 64's music script gives the world a huge feeling, making levels like aquas or zoness feel more lonely.
La música del sueño del tripulante del submarino komsomolets mientras se hunde con más de 150 olivas nucleares
"i have a bad feeling about this"
My friends and I had this game and I remember the first time I went to this level, I was very surprised for the submarine mission. Then I told everybody about the océan level and the submarine but nobody trusted me, geez.
damn cant believe 1997 was 25 years ago
This is definitely superior to the version in the 3DS remake. Still a wonderful level regardless. One of the best water levels, personally. 👍
"look at that, its beautiful"
Wait a second. That map is wrong. You can't go to Solar from Aquas, only Zoness, and Sector X can go warp, Macbeth, or Titania. Titania goes straight to Bolse, which is why I always wanted to kill slippy for trying to be a hero.
Imo, after Area 6 and Titania the most difficult level of the game.
Those exploding sea stars were horrible. :D
What stings about the pollution of Aquas is that it's Slippy's home world...
I knew in star fox command, he started a family and lived the remainder of his days on Aquas but I guess I missed the fact this was his homeworld.
im going high with this shit its so fucking awesome
Sad to know aquas will soon share Zoness's fate
Not if Fox and his buddies can help it!
still have nightmares about those exploding starfish :(
They sure are a pain
WOW! look at that! It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Ah yes it's my favorite room.
It's the one where you *CAN'T FUCKING SEE!*
No one talks about the level of quality
{Daniel A} has of these OSTs
Must've been ripped straight from the Game as the Reverb and Compression of the tracks are Genuine!
I honestly don't remember where I got them. I should have kept track.
Koji Kondo is just an absolute mastermind.
I wish I knew if there was a music sheet, would be awesome to make an even better version of this that I could make.
I agree with slippy there that's beautiful the music goes well 2 remember this game great times.
Wooooaah, it's beautiful !
Watch out behind you !
Really beautiful music to listen to for a beautiful level. The only thing I didn't like too much about the level was how dark it was despite it making sense.
Peppy: Looks like the pollution has started!
This song always puts me on edge...
Slippy is the best. Thanks for the Blue Marine
14 years ago… damn.. I was 12
Nice and relaxing for a ocean 8)
Has a space vibe to it aswell
But Yeah BEST FUCKING WATER SONG
ahh this song brings me back to when i first got star fox 64
Loved this song, BUT DAMN IT THIS STAGE IS HARD

very relaxing

Tony Robbins: "Everybody stay positive and love one another? Can I get an Amen?"
Audience: "AMEN!!"
Falco: "This thing will never hold together!"
Tony Robbins and Audience: 😳
Reminds me of black panther 2 the ocean people.
MOST Underrated LeveL/Planet 🥰
This is much better than Star Fox Command's version of Aqua's music.
Why?! oh WHY was there only 1 submarine level!!!
I'm listening to this in the shower
this totally sounds like a metroid track
Koji Kondo is an excellent composer
It love Aquas is so good level !!!
im crying lmao
Should’ve had More Underwater levels
It could have been Something 😌
@Crossingman18 and zoness... loved that level
Curious as to what the path to Solar would have been.
This thing will never hold together....
can ya make 3ds extended versions of these?
:O BUT AQUAS WAS MY FAVORITE MISSION
Looks like the pollution has started...
Who is your avi?
Macbeth was the only planet in the lylat system that was not used in Star Fox Command.
Zoness wasn't used either.
This song is a cake walk compared to Zoness on Expert mode
Zoness was my favorite mission
reminds me of canary islands
This thing will never hold together!
How is the blue marine fox?
Take Unobungo through ... The PlaNET CoRE....
sounds like a gba game
Star Fox 2? I'm not sure if you're referring to the canceled game for the SNES, which is up for grabs on the net.
It is even harder on the 64
Dabrll
ok, am i being gaslit, did i miss something, why are there multiple maps saying you can go from aquas to solar, no video or article says it besides maps like that
That map has a mistake.
@@Slvrdcky ok thanks, there's other maps with that mistake, would be cool if it did tho
@GillianKerr An ocean that wants you dead!
@wickedconman Um what lmfao
i made it 1 min 38 seconds ;D
LuisSTARFOX64♡Fluke☆☆☆《《
3ds butchered this badly. It lost its majestic ethereal oceanic sound.
The most annoying level ever😅😅
Pity such a beautiful song was wasted on the game's worst level...
Maybe worst boss but definitely amazing level
Worst level? Wtf are you smoking?
Hated Aquas. It's so friggin boring IMO and it's also a lag-fest. The music is the only plausible thing about this level.
Wow, really? I loved this level. It really shows the extent of Andross' pollution on planets, to the point he can turn a beautiful utopia into a horribly contaminated defense zone. Not to mention it's packed with enemies, which always kept me on my toes.
