Playa blanca is our favourite place.. We've just been a few weeks ago and tried popeyes bar.. Highly recommended it.. We're back next year and definitely going to try there Sunday roast 😁.. Love the videos..

Great video Kevin , we are there in a few weeks staying at Lanzarote Princess , we stayed there two years ago just before covid got a grip and the lockdown . I've got to say our whole stay was marvellous, that's why we are going back . Loved the walks along the front and Rubicon Harbour is brilliant ..Thanks for the vlogs Kev they have kept us holiday living Brits very entertained during the last few years .Keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍

Hi Kev.I.N again its great to see different islands and resorts. Never having been to Lanza I now have my basic layout of the tourist places. Unlike you I'm a Victor Meldrew type pensioner in my early 70's so it would be Teguise or PB. PCarmen would be OK for people watching but would need to check out where the Lanzagrotty spots are there to avoid 😎😁 Defo no where the Veronicas strip type places are!!! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the PB walks before you have to come home. Cheers DougT in Mancs

Stayed in hotel Rio in playa blanca very nice 👌 but very quiet place and not many bars, it's what you like really but agree with you puerta del Carmen for me too

Hi Kevin, when I was there about 8yrs ago, I stayed in H10 Lanzarote Princess (Straight up there as well) There seems to be more bars and restaurants as well now. I flew into Fuerteventura Airport and got the boat over from Corralejo to Playa Blanca. Thanks for the videos, I only drove around Puerto Del Carmen one day so I knew very little about it. I was going to the Volcano on Lanzarote, so just drove over to there to have a look. We got out to lunch there as well on one of the many restaurants on the promenade. It is a lot more built up there now as you are walking down the seafront in Playa Blanca.

Oi oi kev been playa blanca 1998 world cup on etc ,use go in popeyes everyday got on well with owner he sailed from thames yrs ago opened bar he west ham fan ,wondering iff he still there top geeza it was pesetos back then ,nice week away hot , im ian the Mod cfc ,rangers , use to surf well tried 😂 good vids pal.stay safe be lucky.

PB is built around a fishing village, rather than a strip which is how PDC has evolved. PB is very spread out. The middle of the resort is the other side of the port where this video ends.
Therere are some lovely restaurants and bars in Faro Park, which is in the opposite direction from Timanfaya Palace than you have walked in this video. Check out Bill's Sports Bar in Faro Park for the football.
PB is a much quieter. more authentic resort than PDC but there are plenty of bars with live music in PB - The Irish Anvil, The Old Mill, The Portabello, the Harp, Bikers Bar, The Flagship, Las Brisas, Treat and Barneys.
Enjoy your time in PB. We're back in 7 weeks.

You need to walk a lot further, the building site at the port is for cruise liners.
Further on there are lovely bars and restaurants at Las Brisas then a bit further along , the lovely marina with it's classy restaurants.
Popeye's area needs an facelift if cruise liners are stopping here.

We love the Canary Islands and we head to one of them each winter (Majorca in summer). Give all the islands a try, they are all so different from each other.

Great vid Kevin - personally preferring PDC over PB is like preferring Great Yarmouth or Blackpool to Brighton! Each to there own though, and I'm a few years older than you so prefer a quiet time these days...

Is it as windy in Playa Blanca Kevin than it is in Costa Teguise ??? Never been to Playa Blanca we’ve only been to Lanzarote the once because it was so breezy in Costa Teguise even in August too when we went !!! Which do you prefer Playa Blanca or Costa Teguise 🤔 Puerto del Carmen seems to be your favourite place in Lanzarote 😎
Seems bit more windy in Playa blanca than pdc , not seen all of Playa blanca yet but pdc my favourite. Costa teguise is nice also.
Playa Blanc is a lovely place. You get a nice breakfast in Popeyes.

Kevin you should try the Papagayo center there is the Harp bar , the biker beach club Mollie's and Wax sports bar as well and on the way to them there is more café and restaurants and bars too
