The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The big-screen epic continues the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed bestseller Dune with returning and new stars, including Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet (“Wonka,” “Call Me by Your Name”), Zendaya (“Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Malcolm & Marie,” “Euphoria”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning”), Oscar nominee Josh Brolin (“Avengers: End Game,” “Milk”), Oscar nominee Austin Butler (“Elvis,” “Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood”), Oscar nominee Florence Pugh (“Black Widow,” “Little Women”), Dave Bautista (the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, “Thor: Love and Thunder”), Oscar winner Christopher Walken (“The Deer Hunter,” “Hairspray”), Léa Seydoux (the “James Bond” franchise and “Crimes of the Future”), Souheila Yacoub (“The Braves,” “Climax”), with Stellan Skarsgård (the “Mamma Mia!” films, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”), with Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling (“45 Years,” “Assassin’s Creed”), and Oscar winner Javier Bardem (“No Country for Old Men,” “Being the Ricardos”).
“Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Villeneuve directed from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts based on Herbert’s novel. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Villeneuve, Tanya Lapointe and Patrick McCormick. The executive producers are Joshua Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, with Kevin J. Anderson serving as creative consultant.
Villeneuve is again collaborating with his “Dune” creatives: Oscar-winning director of photography Greig Fraser; Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette; Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is again on hand to create the score.

This film is meant to be watched in IMAX and it is worth the money. I had literal chills on certain scenes... with the sound score from Zimmer's, the acting from an amazing cast all around and scenery - you can feel it!

Saw it in EMAX on an early screening. This movie isn't meant to be seen, it's meant to be experienced and witnessed on the biggest screen possible!
Seen it on Saturday and this is one of if not the best movie of 2020s so far it’s like modern day empire strikes back but with a Romeo and Juliet like story as well, everything about this is perfect the story , the acting , the cgi , the dialogue everything about it is perfect, the standouts for acting are definitely Timothee Chalamet and Austin Butler but everyone else is also amazing, I’ll be surprised if this movie doesn’t dominate the Oscars next year
DUNE 1 & 2 is the definition of what it would be like if a director made a REALLY SERIOUS AND EPIC SCIFI MOVIE...rather than just chasing and putting fancy CGI and cool stories...but from all aspects...trully cinematic masterpiece.
The movie needs a loud speaker system to truly feel it. My second time viewing the movie today was in IMAX, much louder and better.
Try watching it in a Dolby theater. It shakes your seat with how loud it is

"1 Movie in the World" I agree, one of the best fantasy films that I've watched in the cinema, many scenes are creepy to the skin. It's been a long time since I left the cinema so impressed. Villeneuve deserves an Oscar!🤩

I saw dune 2 it was nice
Loved it, absolutely phenomenal also it’s No.10 on the IMDb atm. All I want is for the films to be longer and when Denis has finished them to release versions with all the deleted scenes, us Dune fans have been waiting years for something this good and we’d love to see the stuff not for cinema (PG13, dune should be a R rating so they can be closer to the books)
Unfortunately he said that he doesn't play these games with the audience and no deleted scenes are released ever...😢

In the next movie we’ll probably see guild navigators. They’re mentioned a few times in the movies, but they are basically people that use copious amounts of spice to see into a limited future and guide ships through the galaxy. They were once human but the book describes how the spice eventually transformed them into these weirdly little goblin dudes

People have forgotten what a truly great or even 'really good ' movie is. The earlier movie was very enjoyable, it correlated with the book. The newer rendition was cast terribly. The actors didn't fit the characters as they did in the earlier rendition. Disappointing.
