    Helpful, especially the sizing part. Thank you. 👍🙂

    Thanks! Just used the Tomir for the final 75 miles of a 200-mile ultra. My feet were swollen and the very wide toe box was appreciated. A versatile choice that would have been too firm for me had I not used a pair of Inov-8 Boomerang insoles. One of the shoes lost some of its midsole stitching after about 100 miles of use. Recommend highly! Troy from Colorado.

      Great to hear you like them. Shame about the stitching issue. Seems it could be related to the issue I had in the first pair. As they're still new you might be able to get a replacement.

      @@whytrigavin thanks - I just cut off the excess and we shall see how they hold up. They are a little trashed after a hard race in snow and ice - I ordered a second pair but half a size down - thanks again for your review!

    Thanks for the video. I found it helpful. I would really appreciate it if you kept the shoe on screen a little more next time. Keep up the good training.

      Thanks for the feedback. New to this type of stuff but will make it better

    Thanks for the review. They've just expanded delivery to Australia so I'm keen to get a pair. I'm a UK size 9 / EU 44 in pretty much everything (including the Speedgoat)... So going from your experience I guess that means I should go a size down.

    • @whytrigavin
      @whytrigavin  Před rokem +1

      That's definitely what I'd recommend. I tried on a pair of the Kjerag and the sizing is different. For them I felt a 44 would be right. But that said they have a very different feel under foot and weren't for me. Prefer the Tomir for the standard training runs.

      @@whytrigavin my pair just arrived in the post. Went a full US size down and they are a perfect fit (look great too in new colourway). Thanks for the advice!

    Very helpful video, thank you!
    Can you please tell me what size do you have on your Hoka Speedgoat? I want to but a Tomir and I would like to compare the size with Hoka, that I currently use.

  • @fraac
    @fraac Před rokem +1

    do these have an insole or, like the kjerag, not? (the kjerag are sized as if they have an insole, so you can either size down 0.5 or buy your normal size and add an insole)

    • @whytrigavin
      @whytrigavin  Před rokem

      no they come with an insole. not too thick and I feel there's enough room to remove that one and put ones of your own choice in if you prefer.

      don't think so. Never been a soldier

    Why are you hiding them ans keeping all the time in your arms - I would like to see how do they look from all the sides, from upper and what is the style of toebox - anatomical or like a cone which I think have no right to exist because they cause health problems of toes - they simply have no place in that kind of toeboxes

    • @whytrigavin
      @whytrigavin  Před 3 měsíci

      Wasn't trying to hide them. They actually have loads of room in the toe box, at least for my feet.
