Tum Tum Thatâs a good point. A man standing still in the middle of the road certainly doesnât look like he just blew a cart up. Most people in Re:Zero would need to swing a sword or cast magic or something to destroy stuff, which would take time. Running them over would prevent most people from attacking. Also, the one who blew up the cart could have been a glass cannon, with high offense and low defense. From Cruschâs perspective, itâs a viable tactic. Of course, this turns out to be wrong, but you canât really blame Crusch *too* much.

Isnât it technically a two shot finisher? Reinhard hit him above the clouds and then hit him into the ground where he got crushed and then drowned/ had heart failure trying to get back up.

1~ Rem fighting while remembering her hero Subaru who came too late.
2~ Subaru killing himself knowing that he might fight Sloth again, but for her it doesn't matter he will do it forever to save her.But the save point was already late.
3~ Subaru crying and finishing the episode saying"Rem your hero is coming to save you".
I cried 0 times in this episode but i found it entretaining.
On the other hand i cried 5 times in the last episode of Made in Abyss season 1
Elric Ayyyyy, only on my second rewatch of Made in Abyss did I cry for that one scene in ep 12, then when I rewatched it with my dad for the recap movies (Wandering Twilight)...we both were fighting back tears cause the scene was more impactful in movie format. I did tear up towards the end of this first re:zero ep...mostly out of pity and Subaruâs ugly crying...then Emilia coming to comfort him...man đ

Yeah, I was abit disappointed cause of that but I think visuals and voice acting are amazing enough for his personality to get across
i havent read the light novels myself, but i know a bit about his monologues, i think havign him monologue like that would have had a bit of a negative impact on the episode, they didnt want to spend so much time on that part of the story in this situation, and wanted to get to the after effects which honestly the non light novel readers would like to know about, in the future they can probably make time for it, but in this episode there wasnt enough time to fit in a long winded monolgue like that, and what they did got his point across and gave us an idea of his character so i think it works out, but for sure they will probably go into that detail with him later

Canât believe that people got rid of his right for speech, to do something so preposterous as taking away his right of free speech is a sin in and of itself, like she took away his whole identity. Then going and attacking him, if he wasnât such a merciful person he would have her killed at the stake. But he is merciful, for letting her off with her arm torn off of her repeated offensives against Regulus rights. Even the original act of running that carriage over him would have killed him if he wasnât Regulus. Those are just blatant disregard for his human rights that he deserves, he could haven even died if he was a normal person. It hurts to see that a royal candidate would do something so hurtful as disregarding someoneâs rights. In fact, itâs atrocious that his rights were ignored like that by one of the people who mightâve lead the country. Thereâs no saving her, who ignored his basic human rights and vandalized his freedom of speech for any reason. So it only makes sense why he would take away something from her, and he was so gracious with it too, only taking away her arm in comparison to his rights.

He got folded by a Reinhard that went Jesus and denied his own death with a blessing, he used that moment to violate Regulus right to live. Also with Subaru's help, since I believe he was the one with the plan to have Reinhard get "killed" in other to get Regulus.

Just a heads up, Regulus and Lye are a bit complicated in regards to their sins. The anime wasnât able to fit all their dialogue. One example is a small interaction where Regulus advised Lye to let go of his desires.

This fight and its aftermath were amazing. Seeing Crusch become a vegetable was sad. She went from such a confident military leader to not remembering anything.
We do see some brief glimpses of her original personality though, which was a bit heartwarming. Knowing that at her core sheâs still the same person.

For people that donât like season 2 because Rem isnât in it, you really need to like move on and forget about her, the show isnât revolved around ONLY her, thereâs other interesting characters that are finally going to get screen time and more world building.
There are people like that? Rem had SO MUCH screentime in season 1. As much as she was my most favorite character I agree it is time to move on to meet more characters and to get more world building.

Greed definitely has the best archbishop and witch
The first time I watched this, I sided with Greed, because it's just rude to run people over on purpose and interrupt them when they're speaking and Crush is behaving like an aggressive idiot. Then I understood that the fight was inevitable the moment they crossed paths, a person who didn't want to fight would just get out of the way of all these wagons, and that Crush and Rem were just quick to understand it.
This is also a good moment to recommend having a tourniquet (an armband that stops bleeding from a missing limb) and keeping it on your person or in the car of in an easily accessible place.

considering Natsuki Subaru has just defeated Petelgeuse, the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, i thought the witch's cult would pipe down on the attacks. Nah they straight up sent 2 archbishops, both having extremely high power level. The music when the Archbishops are being announced is sickening, when i saw that there will be 2 more of those, I was crying. It meant Subaru is about to go down a path of suffering even more challenging than before
