I still can't believe that the strongest being in the game is just some random golem, that you randomly encounter in the beginning of dlc
It's more that furnace golems are gimmick bosses that have to be defeated in a certain way (break their stance and stab their "face" or throw furnace pots in their furnace) that is not available to the AI.

I don’t think it’s random. The Furnace Golems were placed on certain locations like those very powerful hidden Runebears. And it’s now the strongest enemy in the game.
i find Furnace Golems are like the stronger, refined version of the Fire Giant (wonky hitboxes) with gimmicks not unlike the Wandering Mausoleum (can only be defeated in a specific way often not available to AI)
this is the strongest Furnace golem and they are no random enemies
Consort radahn got so close and considering that furnace golem have more than a 100k hp, radahn 2.0 is a nightmare monstrosity
for some reason the Golem didn't spam it's strong attacks in that fight agaisnt Radahn though, it woudn't have been that close if it'd kept stomping with both feet like in other fights

@purehollow4460 nah this radahn is easy, with some minor changes that make it seem difficult for you newbies to the souls games. He only does big damage but other than that he is worse than his base version.

@@jemandjemand2362Bro you can literally break their poise and deal massive damage through criticals. It's literally the stone golem mechanics. Also if you use torrent to jump over their fire attacks and stay behind them it's a cakewalk.

I think its because the bosses/enemies target the furnace golem's head and not its legs. So most of their attacks keep missing since they dont go for the legs at all. Any hit there is just incidental.
All DLC Drake-like boss vs boss fights are ridiculous
To understand, lore wise, why the furnace golem are so strong. They carry the corpses of thousands of warriors, and a bit like warrior jars, it increase their strenght exponentialy the more they have inside of them

That dog won't do anything to the golem, it has a huge physical damage reduction and has immunity to all status effects

the Bleed Dog simply had a glitch that allowed it to deal damage for every tick in game time that the dog's hurtbox touches its target's hitbox, instead of just dealing damage once for each attack

Rellana getting goomba stomped like 7 or 8 times in a row and never once even getting staggered out of an attack by it has to be the dumbest thing i've seen in Elden Ring. Why are so many of the bosses designed to have infinite poise? that's literally just a person in a suit of armor. meanwhile Bayle, a dragon the size of a small parking deck, gets poise broken after like 3 or 4.

Don't the bosses know they gotta hit one of the faces a million meters up his body? I think Radahn hit it with his meteor thing once but that's about it. It's crazy that this "boss" is so trivial for players, but with bosses they cant really riposte or stagger it so they just die. Which is weird cause it should stagger pretty easily when a boss hits its leg.

I read something on a note I found in some camp about some kind of pot that´s not supposed to be used next to them but that ultimately shed very little light on the subject

Hit their legs till they stagger 3 times. They‘ll fall over and you can do a crit on their face for like half of their health
Or some of them have armored legs. On these you gotta do a obi wan(high ground) and throw a few of the 3 kinds of hefty fire pots into their fire for big damage

It turned out really good, these guys are hard to take down and make ordinary golems look like nothing.( I just wanted to understand how Midra's mansion managed not to collapse with the golem entering it and him jumping on the second floor Let alone Messmer's Castle )
Radan can solo it if he spams that multi projectile but he's locked to his programmed behavior in this fight

I don’t mind the normal fire golems in this dlc but the ones that are armored at their legs and can’t be damaged unless you throw fire pots at them are stupid as heck who thought that was a good idea I ran out of fire pots because I didn’t have much and died after throwing some now I have no ingredients to make more so your telling me I have to scavenge ingredients just to kill a non boss enemy

The furnace golem with the foot protectors is the strongest
it's interesting to see this fights because for gameplay reasons the bosses are nerfed a lot, so it begs the question, how nerfed are we, the tarnished? I mean, there is no way the furnace golem survives radahn falling in to him as a meteor, I like to think that a "lore accurate radahn" would probably not break a sweat against this golems so what about the tarnished, the one who slays gods?

Why does the one against all does so much damage at the time and take so little, isnt that bias to a actual fair fight… ive watch a few of these and only 1 time ive seen a lost and it was against malenia second phase but everything else was by a landslide in health
I would consider the leg armor golems to be stronger since I'm not even sure any of the bosses in the game would even be able to damage them
Developers: Let's put an op enemies with infinity hp and defense to the beginning area and sell this dlc lmao
This is partly because the golems hitboxes are trash vs other enemies because they can't target the legs properly
