The best part is how this event expanded the lore on the 4 big villains of 4D's - Antinomy figthing alongside Yusei - Aporia confronting Z-One because they both now, deep down, they alwyas had faith and hope in Yusei to save the future (and that's why Antinomy was sent to help him surpass his limits) - Paradox looking for a purpouse. Just like in the movie, he didn't change his opinion on their mission, but here in Duel Links he had time to think and reconsider things, thus why he wants to define who to put his hopes on in a duel with Z-One - Z-One, well, he has given incredibly solid dialogues with characters he didn't talk to in the series. Dark Signer Kallin, Kallin, Paradox, Carly and Leo are my favourites, and I don't doubt the end of the event will give us even more epic dialogues EDIT: ok, I already had all interactions but Akiza's when I wrote this comment, and considering how underused she was in the anime AND Duel Links events I didn't expect too much, but goddamn it was cool. Didn't expect they would tell us Z-One was aware of Arcadia movement and even considered them a menace. Duel Links has seriously improved it's event dialogues and went to the rigth direction, explore more of the lore behind each amd every character

Ehh definitely in the tops but best against this: Zorc: Literaly the embodiment of primordial darkness, decked Exodia and the Egyptian gods then time spliced himself just to laugh at the heroes for being 5 steps behind as usual. Fucking master. Yubel: Her evil ex girlfriend act kinda annoying but the merciless way she isolates Jaden out of twisted but justified desire to return as his Duel Spirit is both tragic and beautiful. Pity she doesn't do much after this but her whole art has master manipulation and head games almost to rival Zorc himself. Z-Arc: Despite the terrible name, the long build up and the frankly flat personality he displays his motivation is my favorite ever simply for how ludacrious it is but believable: "I'm here to punish the Tryhards of Yugioh!" And I would be remiss if I didn't include Revolver. Oh you thought I'd say Ai? Wrong! Ai was a victim of Lightning's manipulation and Revolver's hatred and racism. It drove him to become a sensational and flamboyant villain who deserves at least a spot near Z-Arc bu...he's not a villain in the end! Just a suicide by cop absolutely broken person who wants to protect his friend and would burn the world to do so. Don Thousand: Eh. Honestly, his plot is laughable and really if it weren't for the concept of Barrian World there wouldn't be much I would remember about him. Really Vector should have gotten to be the final boss. He had charisma and cunning. Alas the series needed a man behind the suffering I guess.

Now that's how you deliver a final boss theme! All of Z-ONE's ideals, what he's been through, his power, his persona, all of it channeled through an unforgettable theme that deserves to be remixed.
Duel Links never disappoints when it comes to themes!, I think the only theme I don't like is Crow's, and he is one of my favorite characters, I think it's not suitable for him somehow!

The beginning of the song has part of the Illiaster theme from Duel Links, but then it's just Yusei's theme from Duel Links, but slower and different instruments. Then it's all JRPG final boss kind of godly theme.
It's not as grand and masterful as Z-ONE's main theme through the anime but it is SUCH a good sub and you could call it a sum-up version since the original is 4 PARTS. Good work Z-ONE, you never fail us as "I am the final boss". I doubt anyone will top this. Don Thousand? YEA, SURE... whatever. Zarc? EH... We'll see. Ai? HMM... We'll see.

This topic has become one of my favorites. You just feel that you went through the whole game and stand in front of the main villain and fight with him. It’s cool at times and at times it becomes sad. But still, if not the best, then one of the best themes.

All this is telling me is that somebody at Konami was playing Bravely Default, desperately wanted to make a YuGiOh game like that, and this was how they compromised. Gods bless them for it and I hope they get to make that game some day.
I don't play yugioh duel links anymore but Konami should REALLY consider adding DL music to Master Duel in a jukebox option that allows you to choose your music before starting a match.
