How did we go from cool looking monsters that sometimes include fanservice to loli decks?

I was looking forward to Traptrix being added to Duel Links and they even got a broken skill to boot, but I had a terrible time trying to pull the cards necessary for it, which burned me out. Ended up playing Harpie Lady, which I was surprised was doing better than what I could cobble together with Traptrix.
