Welcome to Holmfirth and a weekend at home with the Slaws!
It's a jam packed weekend with friends. First off is a Dualers concert @TheDualersOfficial at the Picturedrome.
Next morning it's up to the Carding Shed for breakfast at The Oil Can Cafe. Slaw does DIY at home, followed by a concert with Colne Valley Male Voice Choir. Let all men sing has been a community project and Slaw has had only eight rehearsals before the big day!
Well, I've only just watched this video...Slaw in the male choir was just amazing. Could have listened to them sing all day. What a beautiful voice the son has too. No end of talent. The Dualers sounded fantastic and The Carding Shed looks awesome, very impressive indeed. Very lucky you have Helga after being told the bed actually wouldn't be arriving for another 4 weeks.....although this was months ago now😂 anyway, a very enjoyable video, thankyou ❤

Here here to Mr slaw and son for singing in the choir beautiful, loved the museum with all those cars ,me and Mrs gower visited holmfirth about ten years ago to see last of the summer wine locations also a very beautiful place you even had time to decorate, wot no bed 😂didn't you check on delivery date 😢 still atleast you got helga on your drive way not all is lost. We love the Dualers! Seen Si many times solo and Tyber many times with the group, but the piece de resistance was seeing Si and Tyber on stage at Wembley last year ❤️

Another enjoyable video. I am also in a male voice choir. Donaghadee male voice choir. So I know the enjoyment Slaw gets out of singing. We have been to America Canada Malta Carnegie hall just to name a few. The pandemic done us lots of harm but thankfully we are slowly recovering and getting new members. Looking forward to your next video. Really loved the wild Atlantic way series. Saved me a lot of hassle.

On a different note. We've just booked the last two campsites you stayed at on your way back from Port Grimaud......Lac d Orient and the Chateau just outside Calais. They'll be our last stops as we wind our way up from Switzerland and the French Alps in June.
Taken so many tips for campsites from your channel, and a lot of them will feature in our planned three week tour of Yorkshire and the Lake District in September. Appreciate the detail you go in to with your reviews of various sites. Thanks......and keep 'em coming! 🚐🚐

As great as it is that you’re enjoying holmfirth and the local area. My wife and I was eating in the oil can cafe at the same time as you was filming. What the viewers didn’t get to see is the part where the members of your party started pulling down the display pieces from above the windows and knocking certain pieces onto the floor just so you could use them to rest your camera on to film yourself eating at 7:08.
We all want to enjoy places like the carding shed and personally I think that we should treat them with respect when visiting.

I disagree.. There are no more advertisements than most other channels. It's an excellent channel. Very lively and entertaining with brilliant information regarding touring with a motorhome etc. Long may it continue.
Bit rough handling that little dog at the end. My wife thinks the poor dogs are barely like dogs at all, they're so miserable
So sorry if Mrs Slaw picking Billy up upset you. If you’re a regular watcher of our vlogs, you’ll know that Billy is the star of the show. He is the indisputable top dog! Does your wife not know her dog breeds? Lhasa Apso are Tibetan Monastery dogs, who live their lives to sit on velvet cushions and be waited on hand and foot 🤣 Our two live the life of Riley with us two as their servants!
