the army you rallied comes from you male villagers so you have 20 people just standing around not working also you can get eggs and vegetables from the bigger houses you build but it costs you wealth also if you click on the village name you will open the technology tree
Farming: Make 3 fields about 0,5 Morgen, and rotate them leaving 1 field fallow every 3rd year. Ex. 1. wheat-wheat-fallow, 2. wheat-fallow-wheat, 3. fallow-wheat-wheat
... and remember selected soldiers do not work. Raiders 1st time 1-2 platoons (18-36 raiders)
Have families in the Granary and Storehouse, they will set up stalls in the market. Remember to use the tech-tree!!!

On the top left it tells you how many workers are free for building stuff and also try to connect the buildings to the roads so that they properly work and try to take down bandits because you get a lot of money

Make a large burrage plot upgraded to goats, then use 1 of the small ones you already have for a shoemaker upgrade...clothes stall done. 😅

You need to choose what to put in the back garden of the houses. And if you upgrade your houses, you will get different workshops or gardens to put there.
And to get more families moving in, you need to increase your rating, I'm not quite sure how to do that but it will show you if you hover over it (it's the percentage with the like/dislike on the left of the top bar. 75+% gets you 2 families per month and (i"m not that sure about that one) 50+% gets you 1 family a month.
Always make sure you have one family free to do your construction projects

rather tense episode this one, giving me flashbacks to the economic campaign of 2'000s stronghold (as opposed to the D&D one from 90s), ruthless times and way too man bandits
A Morgen is actually a very interesting unit. It varies village by village (from half an acre to 2.5 acres), because it is equal to the area that a single man with an ox (oxen is the plural seniac!!) can plow in a morning's time (it comes from the german/dutch for morning).
Long term big money in sheep. You only need one to get started. Takes some time until you ramp it up.
On the subject of money - about half way thru, you were looking at Mercenaries. The money that you saw (50) was owned by the PEOPLE, it wasn't your village's money (in the upper right corner) which was ZERO at that point. Once you advance a bit, you can collect taxes and increase your villages money.
Defeating bandits and destroy thier camp, you can get coins (money) and influence to keep into yourself or keep it for your village

You have to manually add the garden and chicken coops to the homes.
I believe there’s a way for you to tell the people working in the logging camps where to cut down trees so you don’t have to build so many
