I remember people flying in WSG way back, ran into that every now and then. They would just be miles into the sky with the flag. I always remember horde being the guilty ones though lol

The horde fence is also relatively easy to jump over, and there are rooms right above the tunnels that you can get into. The big issue with it is that you can't cap readily from it. If there is a boomkin or shaman in the hole it can take a while to get them out.
i remember that there was one guy who modified the terrain-files of Warsong Gulch in such a way that he was able to run underground to the enemys flag pick it up an run back. This was fixed very fast :)

i love wall jumping... i know people might bust my balls for saying this, but i'd totally want to be able to do this again
I love it so much as well! I used to spend literally HOURS trying to get to any "forbidden" place my eyes could spot... I loved exploring so much, I started when TBC came out, I never even reached 60 after a whole year of playing. I'm very proud to say that I've found some fantastic and beautiful places that nobody on the internet has ever mentioned.
Carrying Flags in wsg as a Druid and using wall jumps has become one of my favorite things to do in sod.
I hope they don't patch anymore than they already have.
They add a whole other layer of becoming a good FC.
One WSG exploit i never see mentioned in these videos is the one where Female Humans and Female Undead champions could slip through spots in the fence on the alliance base. There were two locations, one on the fence near the alliance graveyard and then one at the top of the alliance banana path that allowed you to be above the flag return location. No wall jumps required.
Is posting a list of exploits for Warsong Gulch the day before it is released a good idea?

Yeah, private wotlk servers I played on had Arathi Basin as well as Gulch games begin 2, minutes before they began xD Bloody flimsy gates
Haven't they removed most wall jumping/climbing in the version we're playing now? I swear I've tried to do some that used to work and I just slide back down every time .
2 main hacks i noticed was a guy would phase in and out with flag . the second was jumping up on alliance wall. turned both those twiddletwats ion

pretty sure there was one to get right behind the horde flag as well. Then you could just jump out through the back of the wall to cap

Lately in retail Alli has been using some sort of lag hack in a few BG's. Not Asgran either like last Friday it was in Arathi and I forget which one before someone said it is a lag hack.
I hope they make a comp stomp for warsong gulch because i'm having a blast with farming honor marks in arathi basin!

On horde side you can wall jump and get behind the rear wall. I’ve seen flag carriers take it back there
I wall jumped by accident while messing around with my mount in AB one time. Everyone was like, "GO GO GO!". It was pretty funny as I was totally cluelss.
Did all of these back in the day, almost non stop never got a ban or a warning.
The funny thing is in PvE all this is completely fine, I remember during Warlords of Draenor wall jumping was the meta in Everbloom. Everybody tried wall jumping there to get on top of the walls to skip mobs ore even bosses...
Blizzard also did nothing about it, probably because too many players did this...
Nah, stop kidding yourself. Blizzard didn't do anything because they didn't care, because who actually gave a fuck about a WoD dungeon? On the other hand, such an exploit only affects the party doing it. In WSG you have two opposing teams competing, and some exploits are one-sided so they can actually put a team in a disadvantage every time.
u missing the one where u can jump behind the big tree going up to the top in the flag room over a invisble wall and walk up to top

Well i suppose the playing field is more even. If your a vanilla or private server boy, your always ready to pull some of the more grey area maneuvers off to get the win.
If exploits don't get addressed, then Blizzard is inadvertently encouraging players to cheat if they want high ranks. Players have been wintrading and safespotting on Faerlina for weeks now without any consequences..
is speed hacking present in classic? i swear i saw someone moving 500X faster than normal and i saw that blue stream of light that i see in this video (im new to wow completely) i saw it at the flight master in stormwind, someone got off and blew past me heading toward the city
No. The light trail was from the WSG flag. As for what you saw, could probably be a lag, or UI bug

It may have simply been a rogue using sprint or another player using a speed item. These abilities produce a “whushing” white visual effect behind the player. None of them actually make you as fast as a speedhack however.
@@olivefontaine2562 it was definitely as fast as possible that the game could allow without the server crashing, whisked away from me in a split moment

You actually missed quite a bit of jumps. Most of which are just clever uses of terrain. And a lot of these jumps worked on retail after cataclysm, and quite a few still work after the BFA remaster. I have a fair amount of the remaster jumps on my twitch

One of our raidmember suddenly did not come online again. Few days later he was on with a new char as his acc was perma banned for speed hacking xD Level all over again omg what a stupid idea. I think also back then most ppl using those tools were banned quiet fast. If you see someone abusing stuff just report him with full bg grp i'm pretty sure after enough reports there will be an automatic ban like it is in many newer blizz games today.

I mean the only way these will be in classic is if blizzard programs them in. The classic warsong map is built in the new engine so the exploits will not be the same unless they want them to be

funny how people here in the comments seem to think that these exploits matter. What sort of noob doesn't already know that walljumping is fixed? Same with glitching through walls with mounts. It's all fixed.

I dont have a lot of respect for people who try to cheat the game. Only reason I care to know about an exploit is to deal with it when some smartass thinks they're clever exploiting

I remember doing all of this... Never got banned, blocked, etc... And everyone knew abouthem and they went for you there... It wasnt that hard as you said... Just annoying and time waster... It was cool
They haven't fixed any of these.
The gate jump before the horn got me a perma ban back in vanilla.

its impossible to wall jump in classic and it doesnt let you mount in spots where you cant ive tried to get under Org using the mount trick but it just poofs
