    I agree with you, i ended up keeping the Klipsch, it is a speaker that is in the middle of the Emberton 2 and the Middleton, but i like the Nasville sound much better than both, i also agree that design on Marshalls is better, you can skip track directly from the speaker, you can't do this with the Nashville.
    Emberton 2 looses all the bass above 75% of total volume
    I also found that the Marshall Emberton 2 is more stable on flat surfaces this because of the poor base design of the Nashville.
    My conclusion is that personally i get a speaker for the sound, not for the design.

      Klipsch is much louder. Marshall detailed and sound separation is much better on Marshall. Listen with headphone.

    It's good to see Klipsch speakers featured on your reviews. I own both the Bose Flex and the 1st Gen Marshall Emberton, and while they are both great, I have been looking for something more powerful with bigger sound.
    I still own a Klipsch KMC 1 which I purchased from around 2014, and this speaker sounds much better when it was played at louder volumes. My hesitation with buying another Klipsch is this KMC 1 that I still own made a huge pop noise a few years ago and had a burning smell to it, and from the diminished sound output afterwards, I think one of the speakers blew out. I have used it a few times but it just doesn't sound the same.
    But still to see these new Klipsch speakers, it's tempting, I would go for either the Detroit or with the Groove XXL. I still have the KMC 1 on the TV stand, and to me, even though I haven't used it in a while, I still like the look of it, it's a sharp looking speaker.
    I also want to see what else is out there compared to Klipsch. I do like the new Bose Soundlink Max, but I am not sure I want to drop $400 for it. You pay for the Bose name, and not sure that amount of money is justifiable even though I really do like the Bose Flex.

      @DannyPops  Před měsícem +1

      I like your thoughtful observations here :) I think Klipsch is killing the sound, meaning both the nashville and austin sound superb and well balanced, i'm just too much of a looks guy and I don't absolutely love the look of thse. Bose Max is stupid expensive, but it is a joy.

    • @edcipriani8873
      @edcipriani8873 Před měsícem +1

      @@DannyPops - That is the best description of the Bose Max - It's stupid expensive. I would add "Crazy" and Obscene" as well (almost as insane as buying Apple's AirPods Max). There has to be better and more affordable options out there for $400.
      I do like the style and looks of the Marshall speakers, I've been keeping an eye on the Middleton, and maybe a couple of other portable Marshall speakers as well.
      I don't mind the way the Klipsch speakers look, and I really like the Klipsch logo on the grill. Unless yo go up to Klipsch's The One Plus, or The Three Plus speakers which look great in the walnut finish.
      Currently Best Buy is still running a sale on the Sony XG300 for $200, and I came close to buying that over the last few weeks, but decided not to pull the trigger on that and keep looking.
      You know, I don't need any more bluetooth speakers, I have 5 already, but sometimes when you see these new products, and it's like being a kid in a candy store all over again. I don't have THAT speaker yet! and that's how I justify buying another one.

      @@DannyPopsthank *you* for getting right into the details without overly introducing the topic, and for covering all of the aspects that matter!
      I used your affiliate link to get a Klipsch Nashville! It was a close call between that and the Bose flex… but this has a longer battery life (and, I’m hoping, as good of sound). I flirted with the idea of the Marshall Middleton, but I think it would sound muddier than I want. 🔥

    Hey Danny love your videos , keep posting..And by your review I bought the Marshall TUFTON
    which is absolutely awesome and your reviews are awesome,planning to buy a new speaker now so thank you. And btw these speakers are slightly better in sound but they are kind of copies of the MARSHALL, anyways that depends on the person's choice.

  • @studio1am
    @studio1am Před 2 měsíci

    Thanks for the unbiased and helpful review Danny. Would the 'uneveness' of the 360 sound be due to the Emberton being stereo and the Klipsch being mono? Got two questions: how is the latency during video playback when using a pair of Nashvilles in True Wireless Stereo mode (I suspect the extra processing would induce a noticeable delay, I could be wrong)? And how does the Nashville compare to the Emberton II in terms of soundstage, and distortion at volume levels between 60-90%? Ok, those are three questions. Cheers for the insightful review as always.

  • @ninjashhh8344
    @ninjashhh8344 Před 6 měsíci

    I think the style of the Klipsch looks at least as good or better than the Marshall simply b/c the logo is slightly more discreet. Although I don't like any of these speakers that plaster their branding front and center like both of these do unless it is in a more discreet way that blends with the speaker and is still visible (neither of these do that). They do sound good though. Thanks for the review!

    What about the Klipsch Detroit? It's twice the price of the Nashville but I'm not sure if it is worth it. I'm mostly concerned about sound quality - clarity, bass, treble that is not brittle or harsh, etc.

    Thanks for this honest comparison Mr. Pops. And for the dance moves. You know we love it. Can't wait to see the Klipsch Detroit in action. I got myself two Soundcore Motion+ over a year ago and I still believe they sound amazing. The Nashville doesn't seem to convince me but will the Detroit outclass the Soundcore? Should I upgrade? If not for the Detroit, upgrade to what?

    Hey Danny! I love your speaker reviews!
    I’m wondering if you can do a video on 3.5mm capable speakers. I run a speaker for background music all day and am looking for a portable option that can either do this ->
    czcams.com/video/SExoNDrhMfI/video.htmlsi=zaBO-RPFcwP-w9_V
    Or has a dedicated 3.5mm jack, that’s small and portable (like the Willen or Emberton).
