I think this sentiment is exactly why the lego botanical sets do so well. They're gorgeous, well designed, offer unique and fun part usage and do all of it for an affordable price point. It's not just that people like plants, those sets are just the perfect thing for adult collectors to set aside an afternoon to build and they don't have to use three paychecks to afford it

I've seen people complain that the only Collector's Mario set for 2023 is smaller than the others from previous years, but to be honest, it's really refreshing to see! As a student, I'm quite thankful that cheaper sets are being made, while still being amazing display pieces. Great video, keep up the good work!
I fully agree that we need more reasonably sized collector's sets. That's why LEGO Star Wars' midi-scale line is so beloved. We all want more affordable and displayable sets.

LEGO seems to be realising the success of sets like the botanical collection, helmets, and even the HORIZON Tallneck. I think we'll be seeing many more sets like this, with next year's promis of a sorting hat and many Star Wars midi scala ships
A set that I like from the Adult line is the Sonic Green Hill. It was compact, decently-sized, affordable, and came with some nice pieces. And it's easy to expand upon too.
I’ve always really like the piranha plant with the way it looks, and I think Lego just aced the texture with this set. Not only that, but the price is honestly great. It’s greatly sized and like you said has a lot of medium sized pieces. Awesome review!
This has to be one of the *smoothest* sets of all time. The surface is so..... SMOOTH! Lego really needs to make more sets like this one, absolutely amazing.
It's such a charming, amazing looking set, I am looking forward to building it myself. The Mario theme has been really undervalued by Lego in my opinion, there's so much they can do with it
I actually found and bought this set yesterday. Its a very fun build and looks amazing. And the coins are a very nice addition especally for Electrical Mario Fans

A very cool set, got all the fancy love and care it needed and in a pretty affordable package, I hope to see more impressive collectors stuff in such a shelfable size :) Granted LEGO doesn't really not do fancy these days, would be nice for them to go a bit zany with the older style jank every now and then :b

I adore how well they approached the sculptural elements of the build! It's so accurate, and from a distance barely even looks lego as a display piece! But the integration of technic is just 🤌
Lego finally delving into more affordable 18+ sets!! At last a Nintendo set that both appeals to me not being the course builder line and being at a reasonable price is amazing, Lego Nintendo was always a dream theme of mine but I’m yet to get any of the sets so really considering picking this one up. (Pun not intended but here anyway!) Even if we’re still not getting the Mario cast depicted as minifigures like Sonic, more sets like this please Lego!!
I got this set early (October 27th) due to Target messing up and I absolutely adore it! Its so cartoony and fun along with being affordable. One of the best sets made by LEGO
I found this set over a week ago. It's probably my second favorite lego mario set(after the airship, of course; as that was both a good display piece and fun as a mario playset). This is just the right size, as I don't have the money or space for another $200+ mario collector's set. Edit: That intrusive thought at 1:29🤣
I’m so excited to get this set in a couple of days, i love the 18+ sets that are around this size. I’m also a massive fan of all the Mario sets and once i have this i’ll be up to date with owning all of them again
I'm so happy they're finally doing something like this. As a huge fan of Lego Architecture and the Botanical Collection it's great to see a complicated set that's not too huge or expensive
It's crazy to think that LEGO considers a $100 set to be mid-range these days. That should not be the case - that's so much cash! Really glad to see them focusing on more affordable sets again.

Cheesey, I have a suggestion for your next video. Can you cover the new wave of Minecraft Lego. On this app with every Lego instruction, there’s 2 new Lego sets which can combine with other Legos. I am unsure and don’t know how to find the new sets, so if you can do a cover of those sets, you would have all of the gratitude in the world.
I'm genuinely SUPER excited for this set. The Super Mario line was a big disappointment for me until the release of The Mighty Bowser, and that was a HUGE step up for the series. Now with the Piranha Plant, things have really started to turn around. Hopefully this trend continues for LEGO Nintendo sets in the future.

No shade to Tiago, he's a great dude and has an awesome channel, but I do think it's easy to forget how costly these things are once LEGO start sending you them for free. (I've been guilty of the same thing, trust me!)
