Cheesey has better scheduling than I ever will 😂
🤣 It can be a bit of a pain to set up, but scheduling definitely has helped me stay consistent and motivated.
Same lmao
I’m subscribed to all your video is the best and I’m a fan 🤩🤩🤩🤩😁😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@CheeseyStudiosyo quick suggestion for a module. Say they do an end update for 1.21, when they announce it, would you build an end module please
Or if they update hot biomes like desert, badlands, savanna would you update those too?
No clickbait thumbnails,no cringe contents, just more VILLAGE
yessir yessir
I’m 100% sure cheesey is the most comfortable Lego CZcamsr you can watch.
I appreciate that!
Every day you post an update on the Minecraft display is a good day! If you want to make the 6x6 meeting area antistud-less, an option could be building the whole thing upside down
edit: spelling
Yeah! A few of my members were having a bash at it on Discord, and they ended up going the upside-down route too. I'll probably implement their design in the part 2 update!
oo
I literally just finished commenting that I got a design that might work😂😂@@Duckaua
Awesome work as always, and YES! IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING! The Flower Forest is REAL! It's something I've been wanting for forever now, and we're finally going to get to see it soon.
Can't wait to see what you come up with for all of the different flowers.
I'm excited to share it next month! It probably ended up being one of my favorite modules.
I've never been a fan of mixing old and reddish browns in MOCs, but here it's actually done with purpose and I approve. Often times pre and post 2004 colors are mixed for the sake of "realism" but it honestly just looks messy most times. This is the way to do it.
Definitely have almost always felt the same way too. Dark bluish grey and dark grey does look especially jarring... Glad I was able to pull it off convincingly though!
Yet another gorgeous addition to the world. Can't wait to see how the forest ravine turns out!
Excited to show everyone the Ravine - it ended up being one of my favorite modules yet surprisingly!
Can't wait for the ravine, the underground modules are my favourite! Keep it up!
Next episode legit is one of my favs - excited to share it next month!
love your vids underground is my favorite as well.@@CheeseyStudios
Thank you so much again for featuring my design!! Your channel inspired me to pick up lego again and start creating digital mocs, so to see it come full circle in this way is a feeling like no other
^^^ This guy does really great Minecraft MOCs too ❤
@@roddlez agh thank you so much Rod, you’re too sweet ❤️❤️
@@roddlezroddlez you are so cute
@@cuppahotnoodles Hey can I get the part names for the lectern build. I really like it.
@@ReGiftedMinistry yes! It uses 4 parts all in medium nougat, the 2x2 jumper (87580), the 1x1x2/3 brick (86996), the angled 1L bar (65578), and the 2x2 tile (3068b)
Hope that helps! :)
I will never not be astonished by your building skills. You truly are a master builder and it is nothing short of pure joy watching your builds come together
Really appreciate it! Thank you ❤️
I was hoping for this module since the reveal of The Bakery set
Ha, me too! I'm glad I could finally make it happen
@@CheeseyStudios I actually wanted to do my own one ( I was inspired by you) but i never did. Maybe i'll do it in the future
I think it would be funny to include a enderman with a carved pumpkin in his hands placing it on the two snow blocks next to the house
That's a fun idea!
You always seem to upload these whenever I'm bored at work and it always lightens my mood a bit. Thank you cheesey and your magical timing ❤
I hope one of these days cheesy shows us the hole world all put together
Villages are always a fantastic addition to the build! They offer a substantial footprint which can span out with a range of terrain transitions while still supplying the opportunity for tons of part/figure variety and they can pose challenges which can involve quite a bit of build complexity; nothing you're opposed to, nor incapable of, that's for certain.
Yes! They're such a fun challenge. One day, maybe after this layout is all complete, I'd love to dedicate all my resources to just building a single, elaborate village. That would be so much fun!
This is easily one of the best series made by a Lego Creator ever. I've only played minecraft once or twice, and yet this one of the best series is perhaps on CZcams. CZcams should be promoting this series for sure.
Thanks for the reminder that I am old. I was a college student lurking on Classic Castle when the color change went down. Oh boy, if you want to see (politely) mad people, go digging in the archives. Everyone was furious, though the brown color change was not as reviled as the two new shades of grey that everyone hated. Continuity was gone! It was the Lego collecting apocalypse!
I really enjoy your enthusiasm and your deep dives into Lego history. I have barely played Minecraft myself, but I really love this series. It is soothing to watch the playlist and your techniques and color choices are always fascinating.
I can only imagine! It's like if they changed something like tan today to be a shade darker, ha. Grey was such an important part of LEGO's palette at the time too... I'm really glad you've been enjoying the series. It's fun to hear that appeals to both long-time fans and very casual ones!
Hey that is an amazing build! Literally this minecraft category is my favorite. And also I have and idea for you of making a frozen ocean near the village! Love you builds 💜
Thank you! ❤️
The bamboo jungle is my favorite module this man has ever made 😊
the fan apreciation is top notch
Very impressive, the amount of detail you put into every aspect of this world is astounding! Some things I particularly like about the build are the layered snow -which just looks so good in lego- and the spruce planks, which come to life with the texture of the masonry bricks. The taiga villagers also look quite nice in lego form. I don't mean to complain about your build stability again, but it might be helpful to put tiles one plate higher on the inside of the village house roof, (5:43) so that it won't slide from side to side, but will still be easy to take off. That way it won't be at any risk of falling off when you're carrying it around. Alternatively, one brown jumper tile on each side would also work.I personally use this technique on my roofs so that they are easy to take off. I'm excited to see what you do next!
You’re starting to convince me that your entire studio is just made of cheese
sounds tasty (but potentially smelly?)
Been following this series for a long time now, It's so cool to see how far it's come. The Snowy Village is also my favorite Village type and this has been replicated perfectly in your moc!
Thank you! I really do love this village variant too. Always a relief after aimlessly wandering the snowy plains for 10 minutes xD
Pretty neat, I do adore the tiny libraries villages have despite how big the buildings tend to actually be, if you don't have plans for abandoned village might I suggest making the other building a previously abandoned one just so it retains the look of them but due to player activity or something it's in the process of being moved into, some extra stuff I suppose :v
I'm always so impressed with your work every time you post a video! Love how you can take the roof off the library to decorate the inside or make changes if needed! Can't wait for the next video, keep up the amazing work!
Thank you so much! ❤️
the solution to tiling the back side of the meeting area, is to use a sandpaper to sand the bottom side of the plate so it's nice and smooth.
BIG BRAIN
Always excited for a new update! Was actually just thinking yesterday about how I wanted to watch another one of these! Thank you!
Perfect timing! Glad you enjoyed this one.
This series actually inspired me to make a savannah village module of my own. I even managed to pull off a roof design that abides by your smooth standards. Unfortunately I've not been able to build the module irl due to other builds getting the funding instead but at least it was fun to figure out.
I do hope you can make it at some point! I know it can get expensive though.
Ohhhh my god its here. I love seeing these when I wake up. Keep this up. they are fantastic
just saw the ravine in the members only spot, so hyped to see it. Also the techniques for the house are clever as hell.
I love the snowed in feel
I do really like the style of this village. Really fun to build! Hopefully I'll do part 2 here in December :D
Yes! I've been waiting on this one for a while, and it's one of my favorites with how cozy it looks. 🤗
Also for the meeting area, you could build it upside down, with the snow being inverted tiles and the underside being brown tiles. 👍
Thank you! I think I will be trying the upside down tactic in part 2. Could look pretty sweet.
It looks so awesome, I love how smooth the snow looks for some reason!
Even though I was thinking another village wouldn’t be anything too special this video this managed to be as great as always! I love the small attention to detail you bring to builds like using that subtle color difference
Thank you
wow this looks great really looks like the real thing this village is one of my favorites the style of the roof looks great
I'm still not missing your new videos everytime! Amazing build ❤
Thank you!
This looks great. Also, I'm glad you didn't driver yourself crazy trying to make perfectly accurate snow layers. While possible on the ground, they are incredibly complicated, and require the ground underneath to be quite thick.
Me too 🤣 This ultimately has nearly the same effect while being at least 100x easier.
The snowy village is easily my favorite in the game and I love how you built it! So excited for the ravine next time!
Thank you! You're in for a treat next episode :)
Love the New Disk in the background! ❤
I think putting a mob spawner in the side of an eventual mountain would be a good addition, it'd help break up a potentially flat stone wall.
That's my goal! It should be pretty epic
Love the new village ❤
Thank you!
I love this series so much! I would really love to see an End build, but any build made by you is always great!
Thank you! At the very least I will be doing a Stronghold End Portal 👀
@@CheeseyStudios Great! Can't wait to see it!
@@CheeseyStudios😮
Yay !!!! More bios.. great work and great looking moc
Thanks, Grumpy!
Nice I haven't been keeping up since the savannah expansion but its always nice to come back and have a bunch of these vids to binge.
Wow it is amazing and my favorite village of the 3. It is nice to see the world come together module by module!
Thank you! Really glad you like this one.
Love the village videos they look so good in lego and the snowy village has to be my favourite one (apart from the desert village)
Desert Village is pretty hard to top! We'll be expanding this one a bit more in December though, so that'll be pretty cool :)
I was so excited when I opened up youtube and saw your video in my recommendations. Always love the content!
Appreciate it!
I love this village module, but man, ravines are one of the coolest looking places in game, and I can't wait to see how it looks!
It's gonna be epic. I wasn't expecting it, but it became one of the biggest modules to date xD
@@CheeseyStudios ooooooo! Can't wait!!
I was just rewatching the desert village and then I go to recommend and here is a new video about a snowy village. Perfect timing
Ayy! That is perfect
One of my favorites so far
Thank you!
The tiling is soo satisfying. No seriously, how do u do these stuff. Its amazing!!!
It's the best!
Always awesome to watch! Great work!! Looking forward to the next time you put it all together 😉
Thank you!
Always will love this series, watched every episode from the very start
Thanks for sticking around!
Been waiting for this video Cant wait too see how it turns out !
Hope you like it! :D
This looks really good! ( considering the part limitations in the color)
Can’t wait for the next installment!
Thank you! Next one is gonna be fun 👌
village number four, one more to go. Great work! Would love to see a mineshaft or a dark oak forest next :)
I do have another Mineshaft in this video if you're interested :D czcams.com/video/0BVhKlhgmtg/video.html
For the canopy you could build it upside down and use white inverted tiles for the top.
That's what some of my members suggested too! I think I'll update it in part 2
The 2 x 6 is used as a door in the temple of the east, the set is great!
It was a really beautiful set! Kind of a pity to destroy it, but I needed the parts xD (And the space)
Awesome video! Love the villagers 😁, your moc's keep on getting better and better u always give me a smile on face. I would love to come to lego conversations but i live in the in uk. Amazing builds😁 keep up work ❤️
Appreciate it ❤️
Honey wake up Cheesey Studios made a new Minecraft diorama
THIS IS AMAZING, another spectacular moc. have a good idea the stone savanna mountains!
Thank you, and good idea!
@@CheeseyStudios you are one of the small amount of popular youtubers to actually respond to all comments
Has it already been a month? Time flies when you’re excited!!! What a great birthday present for me today ☺️
Well, happy birthday! \o/
Always such a joy seeing more additions 😤👌 will never get sick of villages lol
Ha! Me neither. Villages are just so great
I just love coming back from my first day of school and finding you posted.❤❤❤ keep up the work!!!
Thank you!
Been loving this series the character you put into it is great.
Thank you
The mixing of the old brown and the reddish brown was a pretty genius move and I think it was quite effective in its finished form!
Thank you! I'm glad I was able to pull it off effectively. I'd really never used old brown before in a MOC, so I really enjoyed seeing what pieces were available in the color and learning more about it
Looks amazing
Would really like to see a Strong Hold inside the mountain
This was really cool, for some reason these lego versions of the houses feel even more special and with a unique vibe than the houses do in minecraft, maybe now thats how ill see them in-game too
7:13 I was thinking upside down but I cant even find brown tiles or jumpers, whoever finds a solution to this will be really impressive
It's wild, but some members were working together in our Discord and already came up with something pretty convincing! I'll probably add it in the Snowy pt 2 episode if I can get the pieces.
:0
This is one of the great things about a new month. Love the builds man 🔥
Thank you! Always great to start the month out with a bang :D
Fantastic build, I was able to get the bakery set not to long ago so I might also have a go at making a snowy village😁
Thank you! There's a lot of great buildings to choose from in a snowy village - I think you'd enjoy it!
The mountain is getting close, I FEEL IT! I'm imagine it already. the same design as the mountain set back in 2017 with the same play featuress with latest update change since 1.18. THIS IS GONNA BE AWSEOME!!!
It'll be epic :D
I don’t think there has been a single one of these that I thought was even just ok, every single piece in this whole world is perfect, keep up the good work!!!!
Thank you! ❤️
This was great! This is my personal favourite village so I’m happy to see it start off great!, also the channel member did a good job with the lectern.
But more importantly I’m SO excited for the flower forest and ravine! Have a great day Cheesy!! 🧀
Thank you, and you too!
It’s always so relaxing to watch these videos as I end off my day, I love watching and can’t wait to see all the intuitive designs you come up with for the flowers in your next module, goodnight!
Thank you, and good night!
Not sure how often if at all you get told this but I love the little intro to your videos 0:46 to 0:52
Always enjoy your builds and look forward to more in the future. Cheers!
I'm glad you like it, thank you!
Since my birthdays comin' up (September 18th) I thought of coming back to this series and oh boy I've got a lot of catching up to do. I will not watch this video until I've watched the previous ones I skipped some of your videos how could i but I gotta say. These village builds will be the best builds in my book something about houses together as a community with people living in them made by your hands either Lego or Minecraft is very cool.
next ep sounds incredible cant wait to see it
I really like how it turned out - excited to share it in October!
another great build!! great job man!!
Thank you! Really appreciate it :D
These videos are so therapeutic for some reason, love them 👍
Awesome as always!😀I'm looking forward to getting back into Minecraft MOCs, but for now I'm stuck with Castle
You're doing great stuff with the castle!
I love this series and your truly the best lego minecraft youtuber. Also great build
Thank you! Really appreciate it
Always such a joy to see your Minecraft builds. Best CZcams channel
Thank you ❤️
This was a super great build. My only complaint is that you used such beautiful purple bricks for the layout at the beginning, that I feel could be used for something else like an End City. I don't remember how rare those purple bricks are but I think using a different brick would've been a better idea.
I love this series of builds!!! This is what I've always wanted from lego Minecraft!!! Do you think you would ever consider making digital instructions for some of these builds? I'd definitely purchase them!
Unfortunately I make these up as I go, so I don't really have a good way to make instructions for them 😪 However, I would definitely recommend trying your own! It's not too difficult to build in this style, and I think you'll enjoy the process :)
That’s hilarious. I came up with that lectern design myself last November (2022) but decided not to upload the video I made that it was in and never saw that design since. I’m surprised this is the first time I’m seeing it other than me using it
Love seeing a new episode in the series! You are the best MOC builder I’ve ever seen, can’t wait for that ravine! It sounded amazing
Thank you!
Your welcome! It brightens my day since I tested positive for covid @@CheeseyStudios
Bro about a year Ago I made my own custom Lego Minecraft snowy tiga village inspired off of your models I’m so happy you decided to make one ❤
❤️
Great build! Ya I was thinking about you when I picked up some white 2x2 tiles at the pick a brick! Thought that these are probably great for Caleb 😆
Thank you! Gotta love 2x2 tiles on the wall - so much cheaper than Bricklink xD
Hey, fantastic work as always! I was wondering if you plan on doing a tour video of the MC world, just to help with visualising the scale of the world and seeing how it’s all coming together :)
Eventually, ha! Unfortunately the MC display table also serves as a staging ground for my many other videos, so it's typically a mess xD
I would love to see a game accurate Minecraft shipwreck included in this amazing display. Keep it up, Cheezy Studios!
Thank you, and good idea!
Ayyy! The stickered 2x6 is from the Monkie Kid Dragon of the East Palace!
Indeed 🤣
Awsome build keep it up cant wait to see how the flower forest revine thingamajig turns out
Thank you!
Design for the open anti studs on the meeting spot:
You could build the structure upside down with inverted white tiles for the snow, using reddish brown tiles and 2x2 jumpers to smooth the bottom and connect the fences. The fence posts will then be facing studs down, but if you tweak the spacing so that there would be a pip on the bottom, you can replace that pip with a 1x1 round tile with bar, which can slot into the stud of the green jumper on the ground.
Could also do the same but slot into the jumpers on the roof piece.
Using this method, the bell becomes harder to attach. There are several ways I’ve thought of doing it, with varying degrees of visibility / accuracy:
First is to use a pip with hole and another round tile with bar to get anti studs on both sides, both in clear, and attach to another 2x2 jumper. This would work but the clear would be visible and the bell wouldn’t hinge.
Could also use a gold pip with hole, and just a clear 1x1 with bar, might make it a bit too round looking.
A second way would be to just add a 1x1 with bar to the preexisting bell, which would lower it by one plate, and slot the bar into a 2x2 jumper.
The third would be to use a 2x2 round tile with technic pin hole, which the bell stud would attach into. This would leave the corners open, but still a smoothish surface.
The final technique would be to place that 2x2 round tile in the plate layer, 1 plate below the surface, and then attach the stud of a 2x2 jumper plate into the pin hole (jumper is flat with the bottom surface, anti studs out). This would probably be the neatest, though it leaves a little bit of visible anti studs.
Cheers!
Edit: Meant to say normal brown 2x2 tiles and jumpers for smoothing the bottom, not reddish brown.
loved this build! cant wait for the next part!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
Loved the history lesson even though I already knew most of it lol. Fantastic addition to the world. I just got some more small magma cubes and slimes and I want to make something with them eventually
Ha, thank you! I do love the cubes.
I am always waiting for a new addition! the snowy village has always been one of my favorites, in-game and in real-life models. can't wait to see how much this can truly expand!
I had a small challenge for you (you don't have to, I just thought it could be cool), do you think that at some point you might do modded creatures? and if so could you build a dragon from the Ice and Fire mod? I was trying to build one of my own but I don't think anyone ever has built one
Thank you! I love finding these in game. The housing style is just great imo
Omg that new ravine module looks insane, wish I could be a member again I just don't have the money for it right now. Great snowy village though with this episode, love it. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! You take care of you first. ❤️
Amazing video again, dude. 4:57 I love the Lecturn
And I was The Random Vortex
The subtle color variance of the new/old colors always adds such a nice 'realism' to the color palette, if you know what I mean. Another great build!
I am curious though, why did you choose not to lock the roof into place so it doesn't slide around horizontally, purely for better accuracy..? Surely a 2x2 bracket sticking out would do the job.
Also, I guess I'll be the one to point it out... 7:45 _its not conforming to the module dimensions again!!!_ 😂
I cant wait for the Mineshaft Ravine!
Speaking of it, yesterday i actually found a mineshaft with my friend and we found like so many diamonds in these caves. What made it more intresting was that there was a deep dark right next to it. And i would really like to see something like that in your builds,
(I did die like 40 times in that place because some skeletons with enchanted bows)
lol! That still sounds like quite the fun find. There's nothing quite like a good ol' game of Minecraft with the gang 👌
that looks great! ooh dawm i am excited for the next one a ravine?! wow but yea this was a nice building and ur putting in fan design things aswell? cool!
Next episode is gonna be epic 👌
i think for the well, you could make it upside down. use the inverted tiles for the snow and tile the top in a way that holds it all together. besides, lego is pretty strong on a small scale so i think it could work.
I think that's what we're going to try! A few of the channel members came up with a pretty clever upside-down solution.
