Hi please I need you to backward save my aep template from 2023 to 2022 or 2021
Can I have your email so that I can send you the template
the luma matte and track matte sellection is the best they have done...we can label key frames according to either position or rotation or scale...thank you
Label keys based on P/S/R is actually a really good idea...you should submit a feature request!
Thanks Man! Very Helpful!
The Track Matte feature makes me so happy
You don’t like duplicating the same matte a million times? 😂
H.264 is back.. Made my day...!!!
The ability to export without AME is awesome!! You forgot native 3D import?! Thank you for these insights.. They're straight forwards, no lags, you put your sponsor contents right at the end so we can watch it after we got what we want, some others put their sponsor contents at the beginning, that might lead users to skip the whole thing.
thank you
Welcome back H.264! Sometimes Media Encoder is buggy, it doesn't respond to AE's Add to Media Encoder Queue.
2:40 is why I'm here. I discovered this change on accident while working on a project and wanted to hear someone explain it.
Glad you found something useful :)
Your label colours are nice although I recommend you sacrifice a few similar ones for greys/black/white as greys are good to set as things you maybe are happy with and lock off - handy for templates where you can then see immediate the layers with editable properties etc.
Good suggestions!
Label colors should be contrasty and not look like a gay flag.
Congratulations on 100k
Worked, thx
Glad it helped!
render time went up by plenty
While I do use media encoder most of the time, in the past a heavy render was always a good excuse to, "take a little break." (wink)
I think the biggest bonus for myself is the H.264, i was growing really tired to used Media Encoder or Premiere to have something small for social media.
I also hate using Media Encoder 😅. The new simplified export panel in Premiere is also weird haha
@@CreativeDojo My hate for Media Encoder is just as big! It's slow, buggy, and.... did i mention slow?
Had to use cs6 for stuff like that
I have been using media encoder since it was added and I don't have a problem with it. Set up a preset, apply it, it works. Much easier than rendering it out from inside after effects and it also allows you to continue using after effects while exporting.
Its not slow bro.. Use genuine version.@@RefractArt
I thought my label colours were cool until I saw yours! LOL
😉 basically Google’s Material UI scheme haha
H.264 is good. But expect H.265 to be included as well.
Was also confused about that!
Has anyone noticed that the multi-processor feature they added recently has been nerfed? My renders are taking three times longer and I see very little cpu activity on across all 16 cores.
A lot of people reported weird performance issues with multi-processing. May need to open a ticket :(
Say what? You're kidding.
Adobe has never been able to fully use multi-processors very effectively. Even after rewriting the 2015 engine. All they did was make everything worse.
I have listed all my favorite updates from the new After effects below.
.
But trackmat feature is rock
FINALLY PRESETS damm how long can adobe be so far from actual trends in programs like motion graphics, Tik Tok figured it out 2 Years ago XD
and still not support mkv in 2023
It was a QoL update aparently
You know Adobe 😅

This is the worst version of AE for years
Just wait, it will get worse. Pretty soon it will be "we changed a font color to something you really hate".
This is the problem with the subscription model. You cannot vote with your wallet without giving up all of your completed projects. They could literally do nothing new for the next several years and you would still have to pay a subsciption.
I'm still using Photoshop 2014 because they haven't added anything worth a damn since then. Premiere I just completely avoid if possible. I am doing more and more with Davinci Resolve because while it is nowhere near perfect, they are actually making big progress with their updates, although I wish they would spend a little more time on usability and bug fixes. As it is, I don't even try to do any color correcting in Premiere because it's sluggish and extremely primitive and very lacking. Davinci Resolve color correcting is amazing. The new Premiere titling system is complete garbage. It's like all their developers are mentally retarded.
