After 17 years Adobe has FINALLY updated the text animator and shape presets for After Effects and they're accessible in the current beta version! And not only that, they got actual motion designers who use the software to create them. One of those motion designers just happens to have been me! In this video I'll walk you through the 8 advanced text animator presets I contributed to the 50 new AE presets, and show you some of the other great presets in this batch. I've also made a project file available to download with a contact sheet of comps with every new preset applied, so you don't have to go digging through the presets to find which ones are new.

This is great! For someone that's been using AE for more than 20 years (I'm a 5.5 kid), 17 years professionally, this is a long overdue update and one that won't go unnoticed. I have my own bank of presets that I use for common tasks, but there's some neat stuff here that I'll explore and put to good use in the coming weeks, months and years. Thank you đ

@@JakeInMotion (not an ad) Jake, you have to check this Xiaomi Yeelight LED Screen Light Bar Pro. It has same functions except adaptive light, but remote control work without any wires.
@@JakeInMotion Enjoy your young eyes, young brain and messy desk. When you get to be my age (semi-ancient) the first thing you do each morning is clear everything off your desk because it becomes too much of a distraction and interferes with keeping your mind on what you need to get done.

But you don't have to wait! You can download the beta version and use them right now. I've been working in the beta version for about a month and have had no issues.

I think it's mostly for convenience of snapping the anchor point without having to actually move it manually.

And I'm actually looking for a LED bar for my 4K BenQ screen so...
I was pleasantly surprised at how well the light bar worked, and the adaptive mode is super nice to have.
