- Simplifying a lifetime (or just a year) of mental and physical clutter is a daunting proposition for many with ADHD. Here, ADHD coach and author Linda Roggli, PCC, takes us through a step-by-step process that helps us recognize, honor, and release our attachment to random thoughts and obsessions (not to mention that stack of newspapers from 2016).

I always knew I shine in an acute crisis but don't cope well in a chronic crisis so it's really interesting to hear this explanation and link to ADHD👍
Similarly I'm great at blitzing any project (acute) but don't maintain (chronic).
This is the 1st video I haven’t bumped up to 1.5x-2x speed.
Please have her on again to give more advice and inspiration. So glad we are out the acute phase of the pandemic but I do miss the calm of not having to go anywhere.
To slow it down, which may help some people:
Touch screen to bring up cog icon, click, click on Playback Speed and select.
I'm finding it quite difficult to access the content because the speaker is too hyper for me to listen to without my stress building. When a speaker doesn't pause to breathe I can't breathe either, and I soon become deoxygenated and panicky. It's all too relentless (no changes of pace or intonation).
It's also noisy, with sudden interruptions, and the recording hiss/clipping, although not very noticeable to many, is quite difficult for me.
Nevertheless I really appreciate the work that has gone in, and I'll continue to keep trying to access the content. Thank you!
This webinar has some good practical advice. Thanks.
I am Soo glad someone else is like me and gets stressed by trying to do the coloring books. I'm Soo unable to not be perfectionist to stop thinking"I'm not doing these "right " to enjoy the coloring
For an ADHD video there is a lot of background noise 😂😂😂😂😂. Great information though as my ADHD is 1000000%.
I'm with you on that. More lead in and resume blah blah blah than I can sustain.
😂 and the fax machine!! At least that one she acknowledged. I kept checking to see if I was getting messages. 😒
that's the only way you know that you're talking to one of us. if it is too perfect, IMPOSTEUR!!
💯💯And after I read your comment, I can’t stop laughing after every “ding” sound! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@AlexiHolford LMAO, I thought I was getting messages too!😂😂😂😂😂
It would be nice to know the year this was taped. Maybe put it in the title. It definitely wasn’t just recorded and posted for the first time.
I see on the first slide it says it is Jan. 12, 2021.
The date (12 Jan 2021) is up on screen for the first minute and a half.
Maybe you had your screen off - I often do.
I would first want to say thanks for posting this video. But wanted to also give a little feedback. It's a lot of background noises and the lady talks very fast and there's no way to set the video in a lower speed. I could not follow this and it gave me instant overstimulation and I had to stop the video. I'm a bit disappointed because the theme sounds very useful to me. Is it maybe possible to add a speed toggle to this video so people who have a hard time following can lower the speed a bit?
Maybe you could mute the video and follow along with the transcript?
@@AlexiHolford thank you, that would not help me, but maybe others 👍
I have the playback speed option as usual.
Touch screen to bring up cog icon, click, click on Playback Speed and select.
The sound quality was very irritating for me too.
@@janebrown7231 I tried it on my tablet and there it works! my tv doesn't have that option for some reason
@@Hippespinster Ah well, at least you have the option on one device. 👍
😔
Appreciate you but SLOW DIWN ! You can make the non-tense person tense. Thank you for your efforts
It is too fast paced for me, gave me anxiety.
I agree.
