The particular clip was replayed, where Lisa did say something "similar" - but what she said was very different from "I am not your friend". What she said was, "I am not masquerading as your best friend" which is honest, and fair enough. She was saying, "I'm not trying to be a hypocrite" ... for once, I am on Lisa's side about this. Taylor has a histrionic personality ... she is a big drama queen ;)

It's pretty obvious that Taylor was abusing some substance or other. Whether it be alcohol or benzos, or a combination of them and adderall, she was unhinged for her time on RHOBH. Which, considering her POS of a husband, is not surprising she turned to substances when she's playing the Stepford Wives of the 21st century. I hope she's doing okay these days. The best thing that happened for her and certainly for her child, once her husband suicided, was to leave the show.

LVP can spot a fake from a mile off. She had Taylor's number from the very beginning and when she saw that Taylor was in actual trouble, she offered her help, not because she was her friend, but because it was the right thing to do. Taylor tried to play LVP here but the scene that follows this one had Camille launch into Taylor and nail her to the wall.

LVP doesn't need the checks from RHOBH and should have left a few seasons ago as weaker housewives see her as an easy target to vent their own insecurities and Kyle, the snake, silently enjoys LVP being confronted. LVP remains calm, dignified and drama free. People who need constant reassurance, whether genuine or not, will not like LVP as they will dismiss her as being cold .
I think it's good to also remember that Taylor was in an abusive relationship, and abusers tend to break down their partners self esteem to a degree where they start to develop trust issues in other relationships. LVP was being genuine behind offering her a place to stay, but I do think the whole "you know I'm not your best friend but" may have hurt Taylor a lot more than the average person because she's possibly hypersensitive and suffering from low self esteem?

You become so conditioned to being judged that you start to forget that there are people out there who truly care for you and aren't out to get you, because that toxicity becomes part of your blood. It's a horrendous feeling and I know how it feels myself, I truly hope you're in a better place and are healing and moving on. ❤️
@@AlexHurleyMusic Yes i grew up in an abusive environment and i kept repeating feeling safe in that same atmosphere. I still live in the same Street of my ex partner because he wanted me to. Been living alone for a year and 2 months now. Ive been in and out of asylums in the 5 years we where together. Last summer i did a suïcide attempt and still recovering from that. But i realised that i was so isolated and unhappy that i decided to break all contact and now reconnecting with friends again, going out to the city and picked up my hobby again. And now going back to school. Getting to know New people as well. Its a liberating time for me now and feeling happy. I wish you all the healing you deserve as well ♥️

Yes but Taylor was going through very bad stuff at the time, she was hiding the fact she was being abused by her husband and she was very fragile. The way she acts here is too over the top and its great to watch on TV but we should never forget she was in a bad state of mind.
Yeah this was real life issues compared to the new season it’s petty crap. What Taylor was going through playing out on air was real life traumatic stuff that millions of women are going through. Also the other stuff that happened during this season. Think RHOBH hay day is over think Andy needs to give it a serious shake up if it comes back for season 9.

Because she is in a secure relationship and secure about herself as a person. That's scary and threatening to people who don't have those two things. Why do I admire LVP. I really don't know but the fact that she is misinterpreted most of the time by her friends in LA is probably has a lot to do with the fact that the English have a different sense of humour and are more guarded and probably more poised. LVP clearly said to Taylor "I am not masquerading as your friend" which means the total opposite of "I am not your friend" (I am not masquerading as your friend - because Lisa is not a fool and she knows that she is not a "bestie" of Taylor's but in spite of this Lisa offered her "help". How you gonna misconstrue that as someone judging you (SMH). I feel for Lisa as she tries to fit in to a different "culture" which is emotional and centered on middle aged women carrying on like barbie dolls who have a whole heap of emotional problems. Clearly Americans do not have as good a command of the English language as they think they do. I find her friends (except for Kyle) quite rude when they tell her to "shut up". LVP tried to get her point across but all Taylor could concentrate on was "me me me me me". I would give up if I were Lisa. Lisa is too polished for this show. They were all the same way with Dorit when she joined the show (could it be because she too is English). Lisa's cooool.
Way late to the party here but I totally agree. You can see LVP is genuinely and actively listening to Taylor but the projection in this scene is insane. I felt both terrible for and frustrated by Taylor in this exchange and am impressed by LVP's self-control.
This is how i wish LVP would react in most of her arguments. Instead of dodging and avoiding apologies. Still love her, but i want her to be real and less perfect.
I think as the seasons went on, and the authenticity of the show was lost, she just stopped caring to respond to scripted nonsense. Realistically, that is what caused a huge divide between Kyle and Lisa because Kyle is actually a producer on this show, but Vanderpump conditions from the parent company were that she will not be forced into anything that is not authentic, organic or real.

She missinterpreted what Lisa meant and she was acting irrational because of her situation and the stress she was put under. People here treat this argument like any other, forgetting that this was a very real situation and that Taylor's life was in fact in danger. And as she said, her child was also in danger. Stop minimizing abuse and try to be empathetic to a struggling woman. Good thing her life is so much better now.
