Those mountain fries looked so delicious! I agree that a waiter can add so much to your dining experience and it seems she added a lot to yours! Haven’t eaten here yet but would like to on our trip in October. So many choices…so little time. Thanks for a great review guys!😊

It isnt for everyone. Menu is too limited especially on sides. Definitely a pass for us

@SmokiesPlus Our experience with Five Oaks was similar. Everyone I personally knew who had been there was unhappy buy we've had two excellent meals there. I'll check out her channel. Thanks.

You're right! They were good as well. Had to eat them later as the fries were too much food 😆

It did not.

Hey Bob,
I wanted to fill you in on our recent dining experience at Cumberland Jack's. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite up to par, and I thought I'd share our thoughts with you.
First off, we tried their BLT, and it was a huge disappointment. The main issue was that it was loaded with fat. It felt like we were biting into pure fat instead of enjoying the crispy bacon we were expecting. It really took away from the overall sandwich.
But that's not all; we decided to give their hamburger steak a shot, along with some classic sides like mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. To our dismay, all of it tasted like it had been sitting around for hours, if not the entire day. The hamburger steak was dry and lacked flavor, while the sides were cold and tasted stale. It was a far cry from the fresh, flavorful meal we were hoping for.
However, there was a silver lining to our experience. The manager must have noticed our dissatisfaction, and to their credit, they took action. They comped our entire meal as a gesture of goodwill. While that was appreciated, it doesn't change the fact that the overall dining experience left much to be desired.
All in all, it's safe to say we won't be returning to Cumberland Jack's anytime soon. We were hopeful for a great meal, but unfortunately, the food quality fell short of our expectations. Thanks for listening to our dining woes, Bob.
