I think his success will be determined by the team that drafts him, like all Qbs. With Strong, it mainly comes down to o-line play. If he goes to a team like the Steelers or the Panthers whose O-lines have been struggling, his lack of mobility could hinder his development. He can definitely thrive if he goes to the Saints, Broncos, or Washington, as their lines are at least decent. His arm is one of, if not the best in the draft, he has good size, great, consistent mechanics, throws with great touch, and has good pocket awareness. Reminds me of Alex Smith, but with slightly less mobility and a slightly better arm.
Eagles have a dominant Oline, the #1 rushing attack in the league + Devonta Smith & Dallas Goedert. We also have a pass happy owner & a GM who prioritizes the offensive line almost to the detriment of the team. I really think Strong would do well here.

Has that touch on his passes. That ima put it where my receiver has chance to catch or nobody catches. Smart throws. Only thing I see he would need is, everything out the shotgun. So don't see footwork, doesn't mean doesn't have footwork. But might need work. Might be best qb draft.

I don't know what it is, but it's something about him that reminds me of Brady. Could be the height, the way he stands in the pocket, I don't know. I'll say this, Hurts better improve which I think he will because the Eagles found a good QB. If Hurts doesn't work out, Strong will be the Eagles next starting QB. He did have 3 right knee surgeries so that was why he wasn't drafted. If he can stay healthy & that's a big if, he's going to be a problem. Because of he's 3 knee surgeries maybe the best thing is for him to be a backup until he can prove he's not injury prone.
