- Alec Pierce was the leading receiver for Desmond Ridder and the undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats football team. Led the team in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns. Big play receiver, great size, and speed. Great catching ability and projects as a mid-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft. May go much higher depending on NFL combine results and pro day workouts.

I could see Green Bay drafting him now that Adams is gone. He's drawing comparisons to Jordy Nelson. He's a classic split end, and guess what? He was a Packers fan growing up and his favorite player was...Jordy Nelson.
@@googleisskynet7312 I think he is a cross between Jordy and another ex-Packer WR Jeff Janis.All three are in the 4.3-4.4 range for speed and all had track backgrounds in the sprints going back to high school.
His top speed is ridiculous, he was open on so many of these plays, imagine if he gets a QB who can throw out in front of him for 10-15 easy TDs a year.
Could be the steal of the draft, he's got Tee Higgins/Mike Williams level of production in his prime and he might fall to the 3rd or 4th.

He has physical tools to be an elite deep threat. Most of his highlights are go routes and fades. Would like to see him develop his route running to be a true number one option at the NFL level.
Went to high school with him, such a big baller and comes from an athletic family too, wish him all the success he has yet to come

Great releases at his size official 4.3 speed and a great catch radius with amazing production as a number 1 receiver with big play ability/ red zone threat he’s gone middle second round at the latest

Mooney and Pierce would form a nice young WR duo for Justin Fields. Pierce may not as fast as Mooney but this tape shows how he can go up and get it with the best of them. We're going to need a player like that after losing A-Rob in free agency.
Pierce is a 4.40 guy before that he ran a unofficial 4.33 do not underestimate his speed

This dude Alec Pierce to me is a mixture of DeMarcus Robinson and Mike Evans. His length, his height, and his ability to go up and get the ball at its highest point, and then his underrated speed to pull away from defenders after he makes the catch is really good. He would be a big weapon for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs if they lose DeMarcus Robinson in free agency
He is a mix of two ex Packer WR Jordy Nelson&Jeff Janis.

@@jwash5784 Why not he has 4.40 speed that was adjusted from a 4.33 earlier.Cincinnati allowed him to show off his athleticism something that white WRs are usually said to have lacked and they are automatically relegated to pulling slot duty as a WR.

@@jwash5784 Route running is still a part of his game he can work on.Contested catches is something I personally liked it shows he will fight for the ball and help out his QB.Yes agility is another part of his game he can work on as well.Want to see use open field moves to run away from DBs.
Yeah this is gonna be the guy that a lot of people are gonna look be and wonder why he wasnt talked about as a top 3 wr prospect. Nothing on his tape shows red flags. Size, athleticism, ball tracking and focus

The easy comp is Jordy Nelson. Tall white kid with a lean frame and legit speed outside the numbers to be a serious deep threat. Couple that with his skill on 50/50 balls then you’ve got a potential star receiver for the right team. Rodgers could make that happen but the more of him I watch, the more I want to see Josh Allen rockets in his direction.
Hate to make a comparison to a white receiver but the way he gets up and finds the ball amd makes those crazy acrobatic catches reminds me a lot of Adam Theilen

The Eagles might get him if they decide to trade away one of their first round draft pick. Get another second round and then pick this kid up. His size and speed is what's going to make the Eagles look at him more. If they can't get Burks, he would be the next option.

Absolutely! He is not exceptionally fast, but hhe is like a spider. He catches almost everything and he is strong enough to block. He more looks like a TE! Might fit into Stefansis gameplan.

But if you are a white WR being compared to Jordy is pretty high praise. I think he is a sure 2nd round pick in the upcoming draft.
Jordy Nelson was a crafty Route Runner Pierce just goes down the field and catches jump balls that’s a bad comparison he’s more of a Mike Williams from the Chargers
@@84productions24 Jordy was identical in college. He developed his superior route running from playing with Rodgers in the NFL. I think you need to watch Pierce a bit closer because he is way more than a jump ball/go route WR. He has the most sophisticated route tree of any of the WRs in the top 2 rounds of the upcoming draft. He uses double moves routinely. He drives like a pro on digs and buckles. He goes twice over with his hips across the CB coverage like star WRs. Cincinnati ran a very complex offense in 2021 with Ridder being wise enough to lead a team with a NFL type complexity as a 5th year player at the position. Alec Pierce is one of the best WRs in the entire draft class. That is not true if he only catches go balls and 50-50 shots.
Jesus I think he is a cross between Nelson and a ex-teammate of his Jeff Janis who caught that HAIL MARY in that playoff game vs.Arizona.Don't sleep on his speed.

He’s got Michael Gallup written all over him. Deep play jump ball guy. Will make the tough catch. But I wonder if he can run routes other than seams, fades and go routes. That’s Gallups biggest “negative” (it’s not a negative, but neither guy seems to run more than three routes).
