NDSU WR Christian Watson first caught people’s attention when Trey Lance was getting all the hype because his play always stood out on film. Even after Lance left, Watson was able to take his game to another level. He’s not the usual “tall” receiver. He can go up & catch the 50/50 balls, but he can be used like smaller receivers because of his speed. Deebo Samuel has excelled in catching passes & running the ball, which will be a big advantage for Watson during the draft process.

I don't know how he's not getting more hype for this year's draft. Him and Burks from Arkansas are my two favorites coming out. Whoever gets his kid is getting a star and I think he's going to be a lot better A lot sooner than people think. Love everything about him! That combination of size and speed is ridiculous!

This kid has ONE metric in his athletic ability that the other freak WR drafted this year (Jameson Williams) doesn’t have. AGILITY. I’ve watched a lot of fast prospects through the years, but the change of direction in this kids game, at the speed he runs, is unprecedented. I’ve never seen anything like it. Go watch other WR highlights, it jumps off the screen at you.
These highlights tell me, he never gets tackled and always scores td’s. Pretty pretty good start

@@commander0343 If you take an FCS WR in the second round that player better dominate all competition. Watson did that and was the best WR in the FCS. Nothing more you could ask for.

Does the level of competition in college really matter though ? Josh Allen played in the MWC who aren't really known for having elite defenses and he's one of the best qbs in the league the same can be said for Davante Adams since he too played in the MWC I don't think anybody will really know how good a player will be whose coming out of the draft until they got the pads on at the NFL level

Tradition at NDSU is freshmen aren't allowed to wear sleeves no matter what the weather is like. NDSU knows how to develop players. Its the reason why players get drafted every year and schools like Texas had no draft picks this year.
