Without a doubt Nagisa is a better girlfriend then Keiichi's ex-girlfriend Ami who abandoned him the moment that she found out that he had to pay back his father's debt but it's nice that he ended up rejected her when she tried crawling back to him the moment he paid off his debt and ended up with Nagisa instead and it's nice that she's going to medical school after she quit being a debt collector and that he proposed to her too. 🥰

Ami had to work at a dead end job to pay the huge alimony she owes. Ami is both physically and mentally exhausted from working at a dead end job.

Just because you're a woman doesn't mean we hold back!! So, you better prepare yourself, you broad!"

For real. Like you show up at my door with a debt of my father I didn’t know existed, be insensitive of my father’s passing and insult me various times because of my situation. I would have told her kick rocks, not hearing what she has to say while dumping and shoving my use-to-be girlfriend out of my apartment for being a grade A gold digger. Slam the door on both of them. If the debt lady shows up again, I’ll ask her to be polite with it, if not, she’s getting a face full of my door again.

After they hit it off, Ami discovered that he has history of debts from gambling, it turns out that he's not an elite but a swindler who been on a run from debt collectors for years, she tries to dump that swindler but the debt collectors already found him and caught him but since she's involved with a con artist like him, she too was taken away by debt collectors and forced them to work on a fishing boat to catch a school of tuna fishes and king crabs. Just hope they don't get killed while at the dangerous sea because it's not just the ocean that are dangerous, hurricane could make waves more aggressive.

And the rejection scene with Ami is pretty short and snappy. Usually it's kinda drawn out with how they start ranting about how much they love money and Keiichi telling exactly why they are not for him. But this is over in a few seconds.
