It's an insult to Ronaldo Nazario to compare him to Haaland, or any other striker, this guy had all the qualities, speed, strength, powerful shot, dribbling, agility, intelligence.
He had all of that for about 5 years tops. Give MBappe 4 more years and at age 27 he will have more goals than Fat Ronaldo had appearances! I grew up watching Ronaldo, great player but he didnt have much of a prime before injuries. I'd rank Zlatan a better striker than Ronaldo for the variety of goals he could score. He just wasn't born in Brazil, Argentina, Germany or France to make it far in World cups!

It's because dribbling wastes alot of energy. Energy that strikers today are coached to save for the box.

The only thing that stopped him were his own injuries. Otherwise he's a combination of all the quality players - dribbling like Messi, versatile like CR7, speedy like Mbappe, and strong like Haaland. The only close comparison I can think of is Adriano, whose career was also sadly short lived.

First off, Mbappe is DEFINITELY better than Haaland. Two, Mbappe isn't on R9's level - arguably nobody is. R9 is on the Maradona, CR7, Pele, Messi, Zidane level of greatness. Haaland needs to worry about being the best of HIS era.
