This is fking PERFECT……. If you didn’t have kids 😭😭 I’d be picking up pads from my bathroom floor putting it back all the damn time knowing my kids 😂😂😩😩
As a Guy who plans on having children, if I ever get daughters, which is very likely I will, I’ll definitely let them have this. It’s a necessity they shouldn’t be afraid of.
Not sure why women are giving you crap for the way you displayed the pads but I think it is amazing and that way you don’t have a bunch of crap under your sink. I did this and it’s the best. So organized and no ugly boxes under the sink or in the drawers. 👍
It’s definitely silly to care about displaying vs hiding pads, but it’s also ill-advised to have pads sitting out of the box/a closed container for months in a moisture-filled room like your bathroom. Most of those plastic wrappers aren’t 100% sealed all the way around, and leaving them out like that is just inviting mold and mildew to collect in those pads 🤢
oh be careful how you storage those pads. depending on the brand, they aren't completely sealed, or sometimes the sealing is very delicate it breaks when you move the pads from their side to get them. and if you are storing them in the bathroom, it's dangerous and unsanitary, they will absorb the vapors from when you shower and there's lots of bacteria in the bathroom that might grow up in them☠️ so many pads like that should be in the closet, where it's dry 😭
@@blushbaby5278bruhh, I thought that would be common sense?! Have you ever had a steamy shower? how the walls and everything in the bathroom holds water? pads are literally designed to be absorbents. and she didn't store them in a cabinet, which still is not ideal, but like that they can be in direct contact with steam for 3~4 months (depending on your flow and if you have your period every month, and how many showers you and people that live with you take in a day)
Having them out in the open allows them to be available for everyone and other girls visiting her daughter. It needs to be normalized that periods happen. I known grown single men who keep pads and tampons in their homes for family and friends. It’s not something taboo to be hidden. ❤
The shelf is so pretty....i would do candle, plant, perfume bottles..but it's your home. You do you. It obviously gives you peace and security to surround yourself with essentials and luxuries that make for a serene atmosphere to relax and linger
Coming from a woman who wished my mom was more present with me this is amazing! Also found out today tampons and pads from those brands have titanium dioxide to dye them more white so there are a few other brands in the aisle that don’t contain this I’ll be using instead!
Why take ALL the pads out of the packs??? They gather dust and get dirty over time. But it is the pads that must be clean, this is a hygiene product for sensitive areas. The bath is a very dirty place in itself. Where there is humidity, germs, fungi... I do not recommend storing pads there, even in a closed package.
I love how everyone is commenting about the pads being in the open lol, when you buy them from the store, they are already displayed openly. I have 2 daughters, and their friends are always over. I love having this stuff out just in case someone needs it. i think it's more embarrassing trying to rummage through someone cabinets to find something or having to ask! I keep mine in baskets on a shelf by the toilet, my husband and son, and every man ever should know by women have periods lol its nothing new. Plus, i love how she is stocked up. Female products are so expensive! I keep a variety as well. I think you did Amazing 👏
I have a basket above my toilet with tampons, feminine wipes and pads for my daughter/ guests to easily find what they need without having to go through cabinets or drawes looking for a product that is perfectly natural. Only women use that bathroom usually anyways. However if i have a male guest i would certainly hope they know periods exist by now
What store have you been in that has pads out in the open???? It’s the amount that she has open. You can leave a few in a basket if someone needs them without having 5 packs worth out. They’re also more compact in the package and take up less room so that’s a helpful tip (which she asked for) since this was about space saving ideas.
@@angelab9171she has a lot because if you look it up your supposed to use 20-23 pads on your cycle and 3 girls plus other female friend that seems like a good amount also it doesn’t hurt to have extra to stock up on

If you are a girl this a part of life, I have normalized my boys growing up to it. They don't bat an eye. 🤷♀️
As a female who grew up with mom and two sisters, we never had the necessity to have all of our pads in the bathroom, you only use them for a week every month and each one if us had their own favorite 😅 so four boxes of pads in the bathroom seems too much for me but it looks nice
you do realize cycles vary woman to woman? what if she had a heavy flow or her period is extended? how you manage your life if based on your needs, just like hers.
Those days are gone… Now life is flowing so fast. We need everything in its place where it is used. You must change your perspective and apply this to whole objects you are using. E.g. we never put our coats, jackets, and etc in our bedrooms. Instead we install a huge cupboard in our entrances and place all outer wears inside. Same for the shoes.
Per the comments I am noticing that girls nowadays are losing the sense of “modesty” because they have been told (in schools) that there’s no “shame” for being a woman and having periods but I think that those terms are not opposed. You can feel proud of being a woman (not shameful) and also show feminine modesty keeping private what’s private.
The last thing I’m EVER going to worry about being modest about are tampons/pads being out and within eyeshot in my OWN home bathroom. In public keep it your purse. But if someone sees them.. why should we embarrassed? I feel bad for girls whose moms teach them that they need to be embarrassed about their feminine products. I’m not sure where you got your info from but no school is out here teaching girls to flaunt their periods and not show modesty. Having pads out in a bathroom is the same thing as having toilet paper sitting around in eyeshot. Or is that not taboo because everyone uses it and not just women? 🫢
Right!!! I mean if you put it in the closet then it's cool 🤷♀️ that's alot space for some pads deff would of used what u used for the pads for the other stuff and the bins for the pads...maybe because I use tampons I just can't get over how much space them pads are taking up 🫣
I have a super small bathroom and one of the most helpful pieces of storage is a cabinet type thing with shelves. It has the right height and width to fit perfectly over top of the toilet tank. My aunt lived here before me and she put some slabs of wood underneath the legs to give it some extra height to make it work better. Maybe you could find something like that? It stinks having limited space, but there are definitely solutions!
A lot of comments saying they’d put the pads under the sink but I kinda see her daughter pulling the entire clear bin out, setting it next to her and grabbing what she needs as she’s getting ready. Face wash, eye cream, etc. if the skincare was on the shelf thingy, she would have to turn around every time and put one item away grab another. More convenient the way she set it up! 👍🏼
For anyone looking to organize their spaces, please don't buy more plastic containers to put stuff in. You can reuse containers you already have, or pick up some baskets or plastic tubs for cheap at a thrift store, and maybe hit them with a cool color of spray paint so they all match. But there's no need to make even more new plastic -- especially this super brittle stuff, we all know it won't look clear and classy for long.
As a man I respect women’s products but it’s great to see when you run out because we can help buying more if you run out. When you hide them we don’t know how to help.❤
There are PLENTY of other things you can do to help around the house; unless you were specifically asked to shop for menstrual hygiene products then it’s none of your business.
@@green-sc2wg Hygiene is very important, I don’t know why it’s so taboo? I used to clean public restrooms and I will tell you the women’s restroom was the filthiest.
Who needs to use pads??? Umm maybe girls who get their period? Lmao. For two girls this’ll last a few months. It’s not decor ITS FOR PRACTICAL USE. You look too old to remember what a period so maybe you just forgot but yes women get periods 🤣 the only reason you think it’s weird is because you’ve probably been taught to be ashamed of your body. Should we start hiding toilet paper too?
Be careful with what you put under the sink. It tends to get even more warm and humid under there because of the small enclosed space and the pipe. I'd prefer to put only cleaning products and extra TP down there. Skincare should be kept in the most ventilated spot possible otherwise it might get funky. Maybe only put pads on one shelf of the rack and use other two for your skincare? I can't imagine needing more than one shelf's worth of period products per cycle...so then just restock the shelf when your period is over. Great job on keeping everything tidy overall! 😊
It's not really about having all of those pads for one cycle, it's prep for multiple cycles, i do a similar thing with mine, keeping a 6 month stock up, but also since there are more than one girl in the bathroom/house
Well some people actually need that much and we need for emergency you ALWAYS have to have backup especially if you’re like me and bleed a total of 16 days every month, or if your a family, again especially since heavy flows are often genetic

Grow up, having a period shouldn’t be something that people should be shamed of. Periods happen for most of a woman’s life so I’ll be damned if I gotta hide some pad or even be embarrassed about having a period in the first place. Pads are as normal as toilet paper. 😒☠️
It's not that the pads a visible. First even three women don't need that many pads in a couple of months. Second: a bathroom is iften warm and humid, especially three people showering or banking regularly. Warm Moisture is the opposite of samutary. Better keep them in a normal Temperaturend room. Hi thank you. Do you happen to have a link? 🙏🏾💎🍒 MsCitaP
As a Guy who plans on having children, if I ever get daughters, which is very likely I will, I’ll definitely let them have this. It’s a necessity they shouldn’t be afraid of.
You're a great man
Maybe they won’t all bleed or they’ll be disabled. Not all children are born perfect. Some are born more evolved 👽
Not sure why women are giving you crap for the way you displayed the pads but I think it is amazing and that way you don’t have a bunch of crap under your sink. I did this and it’s the best. So organized and no ugly boxes under the sink or in the drawers. 👍
So have a bunch of crap out on display instead? And what's ugly about the boxes they come in?
It’s definitely silly to care about displaying vs hiding pads, but it’s also ill-advised to have pads sitting out of the box/a closed container for months in a moisture-filled room like your bathroom. Most of those plastic wrappers aren’t 100% sealed all the way around, and leaving them out like that is just inviting mold and mildew to collect in those pads 🤢
Looks great. Giving me ideas for my bathrooms ❤
oh be careful how you storage those pads. depending on the brand, they aren't completely sealed, or sometimes the sealing is very delicate it breaks when you move the pads from their side to get them. and if you are storing them in the bathroom, it's dangerous and unsanitary, they will absorb the vapors from when you shower and there's lots of bacteria in the bathroom that might grow up in them☠️ so many pads like that should be in the closet, where it's dry 😭
That is just ridiculous u can't be serious u just wanted to sound smart and failed
@@blushbaby5278bruhh, I thought that would be common sense?! Have you ever had a steamy shower? how the walls and everything in the bathroom holds water? pads are literally designed to be absorbents. and she didn't store them in a cabinet, which still is not ideal, but like that they can be in direct contact with steam for 3~4 months (depending on your flow and if you have your period every month, and how many showers you and people that live with you take in a day)
My exact thought! From the first pad used to the last, there would be tons of unhealthy bacteria! Thank you for pointing that out.
Wow thank you to the original poster for sharing this. I had no clue

@@Kyou-uz4fe🙄...that's even worse. 😂 Smh.
Having them out in the open allows them to be available for everyone and other girls visiting her daughter. It needs to be normalized that periods happen. I known grown single men who keep pads and tampons in their homes for family and friends. It’s not something taboo to be hidden. ❤
Agreed. The whole displaying of EVERY SINGLE THING personal to us is insane!😂 ...all in order to be these tictok organizing gurus. 🤦🏽♀️
They get dirty overtime!? I always take my out the pack & organize them as well but I didn’t know that it caused them to get dirty.
Not to mention the particles from toilet flushing, water vapor and humidity. I cringed when I saw it.
Bc she can.... theyre literally sealed with yall weird asses
You're not hyegnic if you're using pads in the first place.
Who cares. She obviously isn't dating men.
I always tale them out no problem. They don't get dirty there wrapped.

Remember when they made us feel like we had to hide them?
You’d go to a friend’s house and be like, crap! I need a tampon/pad… you’re already in the bathroom and you can’t really ask where they are… you’re frantically searching and ummm you find nothing. You also don’t want to make to much noise or they will

As a female who grew up with mom and two sisters, we never had the necessity to have all of our pads in the bathroom, you only use them for a week every month and each one if us had their own favorite 😅 so four boxes of pads in the bathroom seems too much for me but it looks nice
Same in my home right now. My 2 daughters and myself all use different pads. We keep them in their boxes under the bathroom vanities.
you do realize cycles vary woman to woman? what if she had a heavy flow or her period is extended? how you manage your life if based on your needs, just like hers.
@@ntrlstarhighly doubt she goes thru 4 boxes for 1 period
Those days are gone…
Now life is flowing so fast.
We need everything in its place where it is used.
You must change your perspective and apply this to whole objects you are using.
E.g. we never put our coats, jackets, and etc in our bedrooms.
Instead we install a huge cupboard in our entrances and place all outer wears inside.
Same for the shoes.

My sentiments exactly; and that's A LOT of sanitary towels
Exactly!!! I was cringing at this- but maybe toilet paper or cute rolled up towels and wash cloths
@@fannyolarte3678I so agree with you 100%
The last thing I’m EVER going to worry about being modest about are tampons/pads being out and within eyeshot in my OWN home bathroom.
I would swap the shelves with the stuff under the sink. You could also save space by not buying every single box of pads that you find.

So cute!!
That’s a lot of pads. Geeze!
I love all the organizers, I’d probably look for a shelf under the sink to maximize that space above the acrylic containers

Yep, mine work in the cabinet just fine…and I prefer the private stuff to be hidden

Who…wants to put out about 100 period pads as decor? Who needs to see sanitary napkins like that? That’s just weird.
You make it sound like they’re disgusting or something??
You are literally the one makin it weird.
How is it decor when there is no other space to put them? 😂 and who gets weirded out by pads..You??
easy access?? like if anyone comes over to my house I'm not hiding things I need accessible

Having a headache, reading the comments of people who hate the fact that you have pads out. Not because keeping them out is bad because they absorb moisture in the air and become harmful, I’m specifically talking about the people who are upset at her for even displaying them out in the open, IN A BATHROOM for her daughters.
Grow up, having a period shouldn’t be something that people should be shamed of. Periods happen for most of a woman’s life so I’ll be damned if I gotta hide some pad or even be embarrassed about having a period in the first place. Pads are as normal as toilet paper. 😒☠️
I feel the exact same way. I really didn’t expect this in 2024.
It's not that the pads a visible.
First even three women don't need that many pads in a couple of months.
Second: a bathroom is iften warm and humid, especially three people showering or banking regularly. Warm Moisture is the opposite of samutary.
Better keep them in a normal Temperaturend room.
You don't need 200 pads on a Rock.
And who on earth has something against seeing pads?????
It's not the dark ages, don't play the woke card.
